I don't think many people know my last name, if any XD That's only used for really famous people with a really common middle name. We abuse our middle name here.

Meaning: here the way to tell people apart is by their middle name. If you say somebody's last name, chances are nobody will know who you are talking about unless their middle name is so horribly common that everybody has been calling them by their last name for years.

I still remember that Maly's first letter for me was sent to "Víctor -lastname-", and the postman got confused and had to guess that it was addressed to me because I was the only Víctor in my building XD
