Since we're on the subject, I'm wondering if I'm writing out the whole "Half-English Half-American" accent for Sagishi properly. Considering I've never been to the U.K. or anything like that, I could be totally butchering the English part of it without realizing.

American English kinda sucks. Why do the English get all of the fun words?



Also, I live in Washington (west coast of the US) and twaaaaaat isn't even used here. But yeah, it sounds about "idiot" level to me as well.

I wouldn't say that 'Murican English sucks, exactly, but it does seem there are more people over here who are more than willing to gaff with all our verbal gubbins. Evidently, I'm one of those people.

Eh...I just call it American. While it's still English, the dialects (if you can call them that) can be so different at times, both on a grammatical as well as on a vocabularial level, that I just seperate 'em.

Well, that, and it's easier than saying "American English" and "British English".

Judging by his fairly brutal set of moves many people tend to assume the curved blade warrior "Razanagi's" personally to be a dark and malicious one... ironically enough however this is in no way the case. Joshua often describes himself as a "pseudo-antihero". This, in his own terms, refers to a person who tries oh so hard to pull things off in a dark and badass fashion, but in reality he's way too friendly to keep it up for longer than an hour at most. He is not wrong by any stretch of the imagination and surprisingly his term is quite the apt self-analysis.

Joshua has a dark side. Unsurprising, everybody does, he however is almost too eager to embrace it... this is however difficult for him as his "light" side is so powerful. He is naturally friendly... a bit of a prankster maybe and a massive pervert definitely... but at his core he's a genuinely nice guy... unfortunately he has become overly influenced by his favourite anime and comic book anti-heroes. Falling head over heels at the prospect of being some sort of "winged rodent man" or perhaps wearing something that is inexplicably "darker than the darkest color there is" he loves to play the anti-hero and his original character in SAO reflected that perfectly, a dark, handsome and mysterious stranger, riddled with scars, however once his real appearance became apparent through use of the hand mirror... his true personality was revealed along with it.

In essence, Joshua is a tryhard on multiple levels, he does his absolute best to appear dark and mysterious but if one spends a long enough time with him one will quickly realise that this is all just an act. Joshua's true personality as previously mentioned is a naturally friendly young man who's always willing to help others, he isn't the best fighter which is why he uses fairly underhanded tactics, but he's always willing to risk his own neck to save another person, he's almost gotten himself killed on multiple occasions this way but he wouldn't take any of it back if you paid him. He's honestly quite insecure about his fairly low levels of strength, but he hides all of that away by putting on an arrogant expression in the face of adversity, acting much more confident than he actually is.

Joshua is a closet pervert, upon seeing a girl he finds attractive, dirty thoughts will naturally begin to swim around in his head. By "closet pervert" I am implying that while he has such dirty thoughts, he never acts on them willingly, at most staring at a girl inappropriately without realising it. This perversion is hiding the fact that he's lonely and is in truth seeking a friend, partner or maybe even spouse to help him through the dark and tormented virtual World he has found himself in. As a side effect of this, he doesn't usually enjoy fighting alone and much prefers to party up... though he often has trouble finding anyone who's willing to do such with him.

To summarize, upon first meeting Joshua he seems to be a dark and mysterious anti-hero however it doesn't take very long for someone with decent intelligence to see through his ruse and reach his friendlier side. When he trusts someone completely, Joshua will throw his darker persona away altogether when around them and show his true self, he'll openly talk to them about anything, show open concern for them if they appear troubled and even crack a few jokes along the way if he feels like it. Despite what he would like you to believe, Joshua is a great ally and friend to have on your side.

Growing up in a normal town near the outskirts of London, Joshua became a major Otaku and gamer from a young age thanks to his Mothers own interest in Japanese culture and anime and his fathers love of video games and video game related merchandise, his family was happy and pleasant, though sometimes butting heads with his father things never got out of hand and his Mother was always a constant support, when he was two years old, his parents had a little girl, Megara. Joshua and Megara's relationship was a bit strained at first, but above all else Joshua loved his sister and promised to take care of her as best as a big brother could.

Years passed like this and eventually word began to spread about the nerve gear and SAO, Joshua and Megara (who had inherited her big brothers interests) were incredibly excited and eager to play and in response to this, as if by fate, both of them gained access to the closed beta. They loved it. It was incredible for the two to work together in this fantasy world and upon seeing how well it was building their relationship even their originally sceptical Mother felt that SAO was a good sibling activity for the two of them and upon the game's official release each of them got a copy.

During the events that led to the players being trapped in the game's now lethal virtual reality, Joshua and Megara were sepperated, (roughly around the time the hand mirrors were activated, Megara was lost in the commotion filled crowd.) despite it being many months since that time, Joshua still searches for Megara intently his greatest hope is that he can find his sister and soon after join the efforts being made to defeat the games final boss and free people everywhere from the tyranny of Sword Art Online. Admittedly however he has not made any major progress in either of these goals... as days go by he feels more and more helpless, his sister is lost somewhere in a massive World... for all he knew she could already be dead... what if she was? What would he do? What would he tell his parents?... No... her body was still with them... they'd already know.

Despite these dark thoughts he continues to travel, becoming stronger with every step he takes, trying to make a name for himself, trying to save his sister and himself... aswell as anybody else he feels he can along the way. His story is just beginning.

-Blade Saw:
Is activated by raising ones blade directly above their head and spinning it wildly.By spinning their now violet coloured blade with extreme speed and finesse, the user creates an effect with their weapon similar to that of a high powered mechanical saw, while fairly pointless against heavily armored opponents, should the spinning blade breach an opponents guard it can continuously stack damage until the art ends or is countered. This art can be cancelled at any time during its duration and lasts for a maximum of thirty seconds. This art can be parried and forcefully stopped as a result.

-Shadowkin:
Is activated by holding the users blade backwards and grasping the blade tip rather than the hilt. The blade glowing a black color is gripped tightly by the tip (much to the users discomfort) as the user charges a target full force, this charge is quickly revealed to be a feint however as the user sidesteps at the last second and brutally strikes the targets legs using the hilt as a bludgeon in an attempt to throw the target off balance and knock them to the ground for another ally to finish off, immediately after this art is completed the users "hide" skill is automatically activated. This art is designed to inhibit enemies rather than kill them and as such does not do much damage, it does however do increased damage to large, heavily armored or mounted opponents. This art has no effect on flying or levitating opponents lest they are grounded.
