My name is Lexy Kathleen. I like my first name, but my middle name sounds Irish or British. But I'm German. But oh well, I've come to like it.

I used to wish I was named something else. Like a really obscure name...I can't even remember what it is now. But I like my name now~

Something reminds me...my uncle did name his children after celebs: he named his son Austin (after 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin, the wrestler, or was it Austin Powers?), and his daughter Cindy after Cindy Crawford. If I were to name a child, it would be completely what I make up. :)

I hate when people name their kids after celebrities. It's just a fad/obsession that they go through, and that kid has to have that name for life.

At least Austin and Cindy are normal names. I can't think of weird celeb names that kids are named after, but then again, it's almost 1 in the morning...

I find it odd when people name their kids after themselves. Then again, the child could always change their name (legally), but by that time the person would be used to that name. :\

I think Lance sounds kind of cool. Not a very common name, I don't think...

My grandmother named me after her doctor... Thus, part of my first name is a guy's name O_o But I don't mind. I like my name, and I like the way my mum thought up of my nickname, Macy ^^ It's better than what my mother planned naming me, Patricia. I think it would be weird if I were called that.

I like the name Macy. it sounds quite unique ^_^

Got no idea where my parents got Matthew from, the Bible, I'm guessing.

Thank you. I believe that you're the first person to say that O_o

Matthew's quite a common name... I have a cousin named Matthew.

My mum chose my name because it was from the bible and what the name Matthew actually means, I believe. It's not a name I would have chosen for myself though... I actually like Daniel for some reason.

I had a keyring telling me what Matthew means XD

I dunno, I wouldn;t mind being called Arthur.

As much as i like my name, i think it would want to be called something cooler, like Lance.

Wouldn't it be odd if you changed your name when you became legal? After 18 years of being called one name, you'd have to get used to another name. That'd be hard.

I heard of a Chicago Bears fan that changed his name to Peyton Manning after the Colts won the Super Bowl XD

My name is Mike. I do like it, but I think I would just consider it a normal average name if it wasn't mine. My mom doesn't like it when people call me Michael, but I kind of like that too.

No, I just go by Michael...

people take me more seriously that way...

Or as serious as you can possibly take a 14 year old boy who lives with his mother in the boonies, and still likes pokemon xD

Hey, I live in the boonies too! My whole state is a "boondocks" XD

On the topic of names: I hate it when people spell my name wrong. My name is Lexy, not Lexi, Alexi, Alex (...I am not a guy kthxbai), Alexandria, Alexa, etc. So. Annoying.

But the thing is it happens almost everywhere I go. Except here; yay~

Our topic is...names, right? xD;
People here mostly call me "Karli", but offline people mostly call me "Kar". Except for my parents, David, and teachers. I personally don't mind being called either of those names. They're both okay, I guess.

X3 Yeah, I know what you mean, so many people spell my real name with a double 'n' instead of just one ._. And it makes me so frustrated!! ;o; Argh!!

@@ Puu~~..

As long as they don't spell it wrong on my check blanks, I'm okay with that~ XP

My partner in our science fair screwed up her name badly. She wrote her name all fancy on the legal documents and when we got to the fair her name tag said "Lean" instead of "Leah." I rofl'd~ XD
