¿What kind of introduction would you like to see in a Pokemon game?

I've been thinking of different ways to start a Pokemon game, since de Professor greeting you at the very begining and your departure from the first town. Thinking about it I have been trying to come up with some interesting way to start the adverture.
What do you think it would be really cool?
To me I would go for a classical "don't go into the grass cause you could die or something", you know, the classic but I'd like to see something kind of diferent in a Pokemon game.
    I was thinking of this...
You start at your home as usual, after the introduction of the professor and entering your name and rivals name and your find in a table 3 Pokemon right in the house where your mom tell you that is your birth day and the professor brought 3 pokemon as a gift, you can choose one. You choose and then have to go and get your Pokeballs at the next city where the lab is.
I was thinking on a spinoff where the Professor is your actual father. That would be really cool....
What do you think? What would you do?

I'd love to see our player being the one going in the grass by accident and getting attacked by wild Pokémon, and having our rival perhaps save us. Would be cool for us to be the less experienced ones for a change. Maybe some day!

Also would be really neat for our dad (who is often gone/missing) offering us a Pokémon when we come of age, then we later find out he's the leader of an evil organization who gave us a mon in hopes of us finally stopping him. Interesting plot point imo.

Usually in the games you get your starter first and then learn how to catch Pokemon. But I've been wondering for a while if we can't just swap the two. You get to catch a wild Pokemon first. Then you get to the next town. In town you run into the professor who immediately notices that you have what it takes as a trainer. He then gives you your actual starter and the Pokedex.

The nice thing about this is that you end up with two Pokemon which can be a good setup if, let's say, the game has a big focus on Double Battles.

The Poke Ball you get at the beginning of the game kinda acts as a Master Ball in disguise allowing your first catch (in a sort of Safari game setup) to be 100% successful. The player could run around the first route and catch whatever they want as their first Pokemon. There could even be a rare encounter for those extra dedicated players.

back when i was in a short phase of coming up with storylines for romhacks, i had this idea where one of the evil team's grunts would become your main rival.

he's a novice and his first task would be to steal the Professor's suitcase of rare starters. he ambushes the lab on the day you're in there, about to be given your first mon, and uses his Pokemon to distract Aides, so he'd be fleeing the scene without a party to rely on. you track him down in a wooded area a little bit later, clearly lost, and you both have a small kerfuffle before the suitcase yanks open to reveal the 3 balls inside. you ofc get to pick first, then he yoinks one shortly after, triggering the first ever battle in the game. it's gonna be a fair fight since, as stated earlier, his other mons aren't with him, so it's a 1v1 vs your starter and his. when the battle is over he flees, then the police arrive, just missing him by a few seconds, to contain the rest of the scene.

figured it'd be a nice little deviation from the norm at the start, and would set up an interesting rival.
