And Bug/Steel... Really?! That makes it 6! Do we really need that many Bug/Steel Pokemon? They're supposed to be rare, since it's kinda hard to combine Bug and Steel, and yet we have 6 of them! o.O

I don't like him either. I hate it when Pokémon are based on human-made objects. Sadly, that's a whole lot in Generration V. This had a lot of potential, but of course they had to put a friggin armor on him and, as was mentioned, make him yet another Bug / Steel Pokémon. I like his evolution method nonetheless.

How could you! i don't like the idea of man-made objects on pokemon either, but come on, he's BAD-A** nonetheless and Bug/Steel is still rare, i don't see you complaining about Scizor? huh?
His design is what i like about him, not the fact that he's got armor on him, and if you look, there's this blue with a big yellow stripe down the bottom, and he's got fangs, references to his pre-evo.
Bug/Steel rules! who cares if it's rare or not, if it's powerfull and good looking, thats all that matters to me, and making friends with it of course, but, i don't care if its rare or not let alone if it's typing is rare or not.
but that's my opinion, i can't really understand yours though....

Ummm... the only way that I can see this being a bug type is that its face looks slightly like a mosquito, but otherwise I can't actually see any clear reasons why it should be a bug type. D;

i think what's under that armor is a slightly more grown up version of the little raindrop, i honestly don't care what type he is, he's still awsum!

I'm fine with all the bug steels, theres only six, i don't see a reason to not like it, in all the games so far? only six bug steels? and you aren't complaining about fancy scizor are you?
i don't like it when they put man made stuff on pokemon either, it dosen't seem right, but thats no reason to hate it, i don't like that "Mummy" as much as Shubarugo, in fact, Shubarugo is one of the only unova pokemon who's names a acctually remember. LOL.

Hmmm, Flemish seems to be very different from Dutch, I guess. Basically it means: "You guys are overreacting, ey". But I'm still gonna have to agree with Gearuvagen, there are too many damn Bug / Steel Pokémon.
It's an outrageous combination, because there are no iron Bugs in real life either. And we have ****ing six of em. Scizor and Forretress were the only Bug / Steel Pokémon ten years ago, and it was fine. It was just two of them, and it seemed appropriate. They were exclusive, too. I guess the steel coat for Wormdam is justified too... But by making three new Bug / Steel Pokémon, I feel like Game Freak kind of ruined it. A Bug in an armor, what the hell, a metal ant, even what the hellier, and a Bug cyborg, seriously?
The only type combinations we see for Bug Pokémon more than Steel are Flying and Poison, which has a reason; Bugs are able to fly and poison in real life. But Steel..? Ever seen a bug turning its body into steel or something? Yes, some have armors, but those are exoskeletons, not metal.

Sorry for my language, but I feel like that precision F strike had to be made. Nevermind, it's bleeped away. No, I'm not overreacting, Xilfer.

To be honest, he doesn't really look like a spider to me. More like a mutant kitty or something. But I don't care because he's so freaking cute! I just think he should have had those mouth pinchers like his evolution.

again its art does it more justice than its sprite It has somewhat grown on me since I first saw it. I also love its typing gives some coverage for those pesky flying types

I always mention it! It's the most amazing, most awesome most wow Pokemon. XD I just love the design, it's way better than what it's actually based on.

ok, i give, gamefreak zen de mensen di overdreven hebben, <that sucked didn't it XD.
but regardless of it's type, i still love this awsome guy's design, acctually, the only thing i really like about this guy is his design, it rules! that's why i want one.
still though, put yourself in gamefreak's shoes, theres two reasons maybe for this:
1. they are SO running out of ideas
2. maybe it's because pokemon is FANTASY for god's sakes, it's not a remake of real life, it's meant for kids of ages 5 to 9 not anything else, gamefreak is only concerned about making the tots happy, not us.
the moral of no.2 is maybe you should get those old imaginations out again. jeez. you sound like scientists, pokemon is a fantasy game end of story.

Gamefreak are the ones that were exaggerating? I'd say that's supposed to be "Gamefreak zijn degenen die overdrijven".

The type is a result of the design, which I don't like either. At least it's better than the Ice Cream Pokémon...

I beg to differ, I'm willing to bet that there were a lot of designs rejected that were actually a lot better than some that are actually in the game. And they could always hire Fakemon designers to make actual Pokémon. I'd do it.

If there was a more consistent Monster Raising RPG, I'd play it. It's just Pokémon is the best we have. I still like it though.

Careful and timid come to mind here. Mostly because those aren't really natures, but more like behaviours that real bugs would have.

Also, I had to tell you all that Xilfer won't be here for the next couple of days because of personal problems. I don't think two/three days of offline-ness would make him inactive, but I'll still just tell you guys.
