Do you think that Bug type Pokemon should be super-effective agains some other type Pokemon?
 
Yeah right, just count Ice weaknesses!
Well IMO, it should be super-effective against Poison aswell!
 
I considered saying Poison but I thought they were to closely related for one to be weak against the other as many Bug types are also Poison types.
 
In Generation I, Bug and Poison were Super Effective against each other. Weird huh?

But I think it's fine the way it is now, only Poison should be not very effective against Bug. Ever tried poisoning a bug? I think not.
 
They have all sorts of Bug killing poisons there called Pesticides
using that logic Poison should be super effective to bug types
 
Yeah, right, by that logic, poison type attack could be super-effective to every type, since there's poison for everything!
 
untrue how could you poison inanimate objects like water or fire it would only affect ypes that are based on living things. Grass,Bug,Fighting,Flying,Normal,Psychic etc... so it wouldn't be super effective against everything just most things but still over powered agreed. Alas that is not the point,the point was Bug should not be super effective against Poison without Poison being able to be super effective against it as well.

I still think he shouldn't have deleted those posts.
but on topic, gear is right poison should stay super effective against bug but technically water can be polluted, wich is kind of a poison.
 
Hmmm i dont think bugs should be weak to fire :( tho i think there isnt any other type they could be super effective tho :/

Oh and technically water pollution isnt caused by poison, so no sense there.
Poison only hurts living organisms ^^
 
^ever burned ants with a magnifying glass (hope not thats an indicator of a violent sociopath). Bugs are very weak to fire ever see a moth come flying out of the other side of a flame unscathed (If so I hope you called a scientist). To me a weakness to fire makes perfect sense.

I understand the flying weakness too, but I'd understand Electric weakness too!
 
...Bug isn't weak to Electric. What are you talking about?
The Flying weakness is pretty obvious, because birds eat insects...

Well, I always think of it this way.

Fire burns a bug, bigtime.
Electric doesnt go with water.
Water puts out fire.
Earth & Rock can be piled on top of fire to put it out.
Grass just soaks in water and grows.

I just make pokemon relate to real life. With bugs, fire to them, they have no chance, it would burn them to a million tiny pieces!

But everything taht comes thru the fire comes out fried not just bugs. They arent more sensible to fire then any other living thing :/

EDIT: there is acctually a type of bug that can survive extreme heat, and event scientist dont know why.
