I wanna use the fat Green Wigglytuff but meh...

Skinnier Wigglytuff, but BOTH eyes are big and scary. No longer giving a O.o look

Mind if I make my own edits to make 2/3 of the sprites have huge eyes?

Well, I must say Esmas, this hack thus far seems a little below your talent level. I've always thought you were a pretty solid hacker, which is why I'm a little disappointed. you simply MUST do something to make the beginning of the game more original.
It's still like ruby in all the follow points:
You just moved
You start in a truck
You rescue a professor
You get your pokemon from the bag

If you put your imagination to it, I'm sure you can come up with some ideas to make it better

this might be a record as far as most posts in a day goes esmas, lol

anyway.... the palletes were unique... but the new ones look a lot better, the intro is echoing of ruby in a few ways, but...
so was baro's highly praised Quartz... personally i respected all the new pkmn he added, but it felt liek ruby still. If u can make Green Tree feel not like ruby then i'm on board.

Also love the fantasy locations!

I hope to see that you can pull your hack into an awesome hack, because you have the talent in you to do it from what i've seen of your work in outer hacks.
 
No offence Esmas, but I was expecting something more from you. It doesn't seem like you've taken you're time and thought of something that will stand out. You just seem to have FR(with few changes) Ruby style. But what's the point? We can just play FR. It just doesn't seem like you thought this through.
I prefered Dawn and Dusk Edition and Silver Crescent. I liked those ideas. Too bad you didn't continue those. If I wasn't working on LoD, I would have asked if I could use the idea from Silver Crescent. But, I guess it's up to you....
 
Esmas I think overall the hack looks good, but I regret the palletes, but they're ok, not too bad either so I think you can make and improvement on that. About the story...it seems abit dull so I hope you will make it more exciting. The tiles are not the best either but not too bad. The sprites look well done though.Good luck, I will be hoping to see more improvements.

Trust me people, this would have to be calculated to be... hm... a 10% remake of Johto? I mean, the region will be the same, but there is much more than that. I might think of renaming the region and everything, but as far as the first few months goes I won't.

But everyone, I think you're still missing the new change of palettes. The ones in the screenshots are OLD, please wait until we get the NEW ones! Scroll to the top of the main thread to see it. I'll make it bigger and in bold so you can see it. ;)

Oh and last thing, the "originality" thing, I'll make it so you start in your house, and I'll make it so you don't have to rescue the professor.

A question is, are you capable of scripting the events that lead to Celebi taking you to the future, or riding the zeppelin? Do you know how to script like that?

Some parts, yes, some no. That's why I have a team to help me out. Like, the Celebi event I can do, but if I get stuck then I'll ask the team.

Yes Forgotten Memory is on right now and he says they will be finished in 10 minutes. But I'm not sure, maybe his lying. ;)
 
Yeah, it must be difficult. Those palettes were very weird, it must be hard trying to find them! xD
 
Now that you get your pokemon in a different way are you thnking of a new way? What about some how putting into the game that you have to get something for the prof. at a pokemon centre and its located on the top floor and you find a pokemon that came through the trading system and you get told to keep it or something? Just an idea!
