Hello! I have been gone for so long that I feel I need to reintroduce myself... I joined the club in the first few pages, and was the competitions organiser for a while. I had to take some time out from the internet because I started a new job and it was hectic. I love cute pokemon, and now I have more time, I would love to rejoin, if you'll have me back :3 I should be more active from now on *fingers crossed touch wood etc*

I had a quick go at trying to make metagross cute...

... Okay I'm sorry guys but the challenge = failed x] I think MysticFlower's attempt wins in the cuteness standings, but that metal beast still isn't seeming all that cute x] And Mystic you never left our hearts <3

So what is it about Metagross that makes it so un-cute? Maybe it's the fact that it has a huge cross across its face shouting out "DON'T TOUCH ME."? Or maybe it's the spikey feet or angry looking eyes? I think the way its eyes connect to the cross does always make Metagross seem angry... What do you guys think? :3

That's exactly what makes it cute! D:
I mean, how many anime characters are people IN LOVE WITH just because of that attitude/atmosphere. People think those characters are cute all the time. Not only is he brutal, he's super smart, and that adds to the cute factor to me! Like a little "surprise!" inside. Much like how some people find adorable characters even more adorable when they're super smart or secretly super evil!
Metagross is one of those characters! He's just so cute, and that "X" on his face making him look angry only makes him cuter. <3

Hmm, interesting... I kinda see where you're coming from and I certainly agree this works in some cases, but I don't think it works this way for Metagross x] I think Metagross really is just a badass, no cuteness going on in there D: And the smartness point is interesting, does that contribute to cuteness? I've never thought about it before... I guess it kinda does! But I think it depends how the smartness is used, and using it to kill and destroy doesn't really count as cute in my mind xD Although I think I'm pretty biased against Metagross, that thing always gives me trouble!

Well. it's kinda slapped together and I literally just finished making it so it's not exactly permanent. XD Usagi is japanese for rabbit and mame is meant to be short for edamame or soy bean since its inspired by them.

I'm open for ideas though, I'm not super in love with it. X3

I made a water puppy :D (These are going to be starters in my game I'm making X3)

This is adorable. The bunny I wasn't so keen on since the crossed out eyes kinda... Made it seem dead :< But this one is adorable x] Any more cuties you've made to share? :D

Those are two incredibly cute fakemons.
The fact that the first one is based off of a soy bean is brilliant. Though the idea may not be completely original, it is still different from what we usually see as Pokémon designs and the concept is just great. I like the design of the other sprite more, though, as I just think it's quite a bit more cute than Mameusagi, and a great deal of pretty. It reminds me a lot of Eevee to be honest. Though comparing them to the designs of the official Pokémon, they wouldn't exactly qualify as real Pokémon in the state they are now, though you can always improve them and stuff, as you yourself improve as a spriter. Do not think I'm criticizing you, though, as you clearly are a talented spriter. I hope to see more cute Pokémon from you n_n

Also, since the second doesn't have a name, concept and stuff, would it maybe be an idea for the members here to help you choose?

lol the bunny doesnt have crossed out eyes but I did fix them, I didn't like the red. X3

I'd really love name ideas for any of them, since I really don't like any of the ideas I've come up with. (I hate naming things >:/)

All starters have been updated and finished!

In my game the region is broken down into seasons so there are alternate wild versions you can catch in each season you move onto.
(you start in spring so you don't have a spring wild.)

Obviously autumn, summer, and winter.

p.s. those are 4 hour kitties you're lookin' at there. X3
