Hello and welcome traveler, to the Theseus Region! I have many inspirations for this region, first and foremost, my homeland - the Philippines, in the sense that Theseus is an island archipelago with four main islands surrounded by a plethora of islets! The second one is Steven Universe, in which I got the idea of Pokemon Fusion, a power only known to exist in the Theseus Region!​

Timeline

Separation of Aedon

In the beginning, the Theseus Region was a big clump of land called "Aedon". But then, a strong earthquake, shook Theseus and tore it into 4 parts. The center and smallest one was called Aedonis as a nod to the super continent that compassed the region.

The second piece was the largest one, it was named Aquiliam. A place of natural beauty, mountains were covered with a rug of trees, green, yellow, scarlet and orange, but their bare tops were scarfed and beribboned with snow. From carved rocky outcrops, waterfalls drifted like skeins of white lawn, and in the fields we could see the amber glint of rivers and the occasional mirror-like flash of a mountain lake. The citizens use their rich soil to plant food for the region.

The second one was Raviae, where the flat sea stretched in all directions, the afternoon sun scattering diamonds across it's surface. Avian creatures wheeled overhead, carried by the cool ocean breeze. On the south east of the isle was a vast tundra, a dark spruce forest frowned on either side of the frozen waterway. The trees had been stripped by wind of their white covering of frost, and they seemed to lean toward each other, black and ominous, in the fading light. Erudite citizens of this island use their innovative minds to discover new things and invent various mechanisms.

The last of the four islands, was called Nolitimere, there lay the mighty desert, brown, barren, desolate—the desert with its dreaded sand storms and simooms. The first island to establish a monarchy and a militant force. Little did the Theseusians know that Nolitimere would be the root of all their troubles.

Nolitimere Invasion

With the thirst of conquering the whole region, King Dhaes and all the armed forces of Nolitimere invaded Aquiliam and Raviae, leaving corpses, ruin and destruction in their wake of conquest. They turned Theseus into a skeleton, stripped of its flesh by the locust that swarmed. All that remains is Aedonis.

Once they reached the center island, they were greeted by a small army of insurgents led by a young man accompanied by Eevee and all its eight evolutions, Dhaes laughed at the thought. The small rebel group was outnumbered, but that didn't stop them. "For the region of Theseus," they all chanted as they charged towards the Nolitimere army.

As the clangor of the swords had died away, the shouting of the slaughter was hushed; silence lay on the red-stained ground. The pale bleak sun that glittered so blindingly from the above struck sheens of silver from rent corselet and broken blades, where the dead lay in heaps. All that left standing was the young man, his Pokemon and King Dhaes. Suddenly, his Pokemon all glowed in unison, a white flash emanated from them, "Dhaes, Theseus is a place of peace, and you have destroyed its harmonic balance! Now, I will show you Theseus' hidden power!" The young man readied himself and glowed alongside his Pokemon. "Pokemon Fusion!"

Modern Day

Since the defeat of evil king Dhaes, Theseus began its regrowth and development, rubbled villages were rebuilt and some were innovated into towns, some even cities. With the help of all Theseus islands (yes, even Nolitimere), the region began to bloom as place of natural beauty and innovation. Trainers from all over the world has known of the region and have traveled very far to witness everything it has to offer, from the picturesque sceneries to Pokemon Fusion!

The Blood of the Hero & Pokemon Fusion
The Blood of the Hero is a bloodline dating back from the early settlers of Theseus, it is said that those who have the Blood of the Hero coursing through their veins are the descendants of the hero himself, and they hold a special power known as Pokemon Fusion!

Pokemon Fusion are the product of two Pokemon, who fuse together, creating an entirely separate entity. When Pokemon fuse, both their bodies and minds become one. This creates an entirely different entity, as opposed to two minds sharing a single body. Pokemon Fusion can be achieved by two requirements, first, thier trainer must posess the Blood of the Hero, and second, both Pokemon must have an undeniable bond with eachother.

Locations

Aquiliam

Alistaire City
A metropolis city located at center Aquiliam. It is abundant with black skyscrapers with different business lingering about, including hotels, restaurants and malls. It also houses the airport and subway stations of the region.

Danneatte City
A city holding a lot of history and culture. A tulip garden can be found at the outskirts of city, it is well known for the only quality cycling shop in the region and a popular fishing bridge sits near the city exit.

Makaio Town
This beach town is blessed with white sands. Many tourist go here for sunbathing and other beach related activities, mostly in the summer. A pier is located here for fast and easy travel toward the other islands of the region.

Aequor Port
A harbor where ships can dock and transfer people or cargo to or from land in Raviae. In the baywalk area, a small carnival is held with many attractions. From ferris wheels, food stalls and occasional tourist traps​

Odessa City
A town which happens to be the breeding capital of the region. There are many facilities such as Pokemon Day cares and Breeding centers, though even with these facilities sometimes there might be an overabundance of eggs.

Gael Town
A village hidden deep in the Theseus jungles. Many native people live there, in their wooden hut as homes. They protect the Moss Stone, saying that the stone holds mystical powers. Aside from the Moss Stone, a raging waterfall also resides near the town, it is said to have a secret pathway toward Raviae.

Raviae

Vesta City
A city of time, in which even with the changing cultures keeps it's medieval look with a large castle and old fashioned homes that have been made of recent materials rather than plain old stone. There are theaters where they hold plays and taverns where travelers can relax.

Andras Town
It is full of plant life and is set close to the borders of Raviae. When passing through you'll see a variety of blooming trees and flowers that seem to bloom all year round and the place is never left without a vast array of color.

Beryl City
A city that was born of many researchers mind. It is full of high-technology from its buildings, streets, lights and even the simplest beds. The education system there is one of a kind, plus, they give importance to science in everyday life.

Anthanide Power Plant
An industrial facility for the generation of electric power sustaining the entire region with the aid of a rotating machine that converts mechanical power into electrical power. It is dome in shape and the entire roof is covered with large solar panels as another way of making electricity.​

Candence City
The city is a rather shady place, and the alleyways are dangerous, filled with roughnecks and other devious figures. Keep your valuables close by! Its bustling with night life - come gambling in a casino or shop in one of the many malls!

Buena Casino
A facility which houses and accommodates certain types of gambling activities dotted with flashing lights and neon signs, known for hosting live entertainment events, such as stand-up comedy, concerts, and sporting events.​

Galloway Town
Located in the middle of the swamp, a town is shrouded in a thick fog. The buildings in this town are small and old, Some of the look like they are about to collapse. There's a house in the outskirts of the town that is said to be haunted.

Occult Mansion
An old, abandoned, broken mansion. A sign that says "KEEP OUT" greets any travelers. Rumors state that there are some "paranormal" activities.

Path of Woe
A small, dark, creepy path lining with dead grass. It leads to some unusual places. A good place to find Dark, Ghost and Rock-type Pokemon.​

Sheanix City​

There are many festivities that occur in this lively part of Nolitemere, as well as several painted murals lining the walls of buildings. There is almost always a musician or two performing at street corners, creating a light atmosphere that attracts many.

Mullingar Isle
A film crew was spotted here weeks ago, it will soon be the site of Theseus' newest TV reality show!
Clavis Isle
At the center of the Nami Ocean lies Clavis Isle. A big circular landmass holding many Pokemon sanctuaries. It is believed that fossil and archaeological research was conducted here.
Meridies Islands
Groups of islands situated at the Nami Ocean, researchers believe that their are more than 70 islands (some islets) in the group. Big ones have rain forests in them, crawling with Water, Grass, Ground and Poison-types.​

FAQ

How can I purchase any of these items?

To purchase items from the shop all you need to do is it make sure you've accumulated enough to buy the said item and then you will have to PM me your order slip, saying, "Hey, I want to buy this item". That's all.​

How to Pokeballs work?

First and foremost, each newly signed up Theseus civilian is entitled to 3 Pokemon of their choosing, they can enter with less than three, but the cap remains at three. This can be changed by three items, the Pokeball and its variants. Which entitles the buyer additional space for their party.​

How do we earn

You can earn Gillies buy writing up short stories, fanfiction, poems, drawing art and other mediums for your creativity to flow and express your love for Theseus. Basically, anything along the guidelines of PC that showcases Theseus!​

Well, if that's the case then you'll have to PM me a link to your work. If it's in parts, then send me the links of all the parts. I'll grade them accordingly and award you with the Gillies equivalent to your hard work! Please pay in mind that you must only submit COMPLETED stories/art not ONGOING. (just a lil' side note: I'll award someone who showcases the use of Fusion Pokemon)

Mysterious power plant explosion causes Pokemon to be enraged!

Out on the rolling skyline, fifty miles away, a lancelike ray of blue-white light shot up into the gathering dusk--a clump of five rays, really, from five deep shafts in an irregular pentagon half a mile across, blended into one by the distance. An instant later, there was a blinding flash, like sheet-lightning, and a huge ball of varicolored fire belched upward. It was as though a fist of flame had decided to punch it's way out of the main complex. Windows shattered. Smoke and fire rushed out. Thousands of pieces of glass and steel, a deadly rainfall, showered down. Alarms - shrill and deafening- erupted. A huge bite had been taken out of the side and the roof of the building.

These were the events that took place last night at exactly 8:23 PM in Beryl City, Raviae at the Anthanide Power Plant. Fortunately, zero casualties were reported but many factory workers were rushed to the hospital. But after the events, people started to notice an arsenal of Electric -type Pokemon walking down the streets of Beryl City and then - chaos ensued! Dedennes began to invade households, Jolteons chased down people and Eelektross swarmed the research buildings across the city. This not only happened in Beryl but across Raviae! This is evident in Andras Town, Ventus City and Candence City!

And worst of all, the erudite researchers of Raviae haven't found a single logical explanation as to what happened.

Theseusians of all the islands, be alert and vigilant. ​

Seven Abernathy, the alliance maker

He travels through land, air and water to traverse his destinations! He is kind-hearted, friendly and a strong-willed person and he treats everyone with respect! But when it comes to work he is serious and rational, he is our very own, Seven Abernathy!

The Theseus Tribune have recovered information that our region is now allied with Thessali, Oceia and Dulra! And perhaps many more to come! ​

Mysterious power plant explosion culprit found!

The sneaky man thought himself something of an artist. There was skill he thought to the perfect "break and enter". His method took time but but the rewards were high. He cased the power plant carefully for a week or two in various brilliant disguises. He learned the routines of the workers. Once he had calculated the best point of entry and the best time it was on to the second phase. The final stage was actually not that exciting, he just strolled in, took the item and the explosion occurred.

Theseusians, the Raviae police have performed a thorough investigation of the eruption last night and came up with the results above. Witness testimonies and CCTV cameras have captured a strange man visiting the building for weeks, and it was the same man who broke in the night at the Anthanide Power Plant. At this moment, he is currently at large. He was seen taking a item from the building, although, this item is unknown. But the mysterious thing is, the detectives haven't came up with a logical explanation as to why the Electric-type Pokemon rampaged last night.

Investigators speculate that this man is a part of a crime syndicate lingering around Theseus, but they advice not to panic, as this is purely theory! Now, the police ask for our help. Who is this man? And, where is he now? Theseusians, keep your eyes open for him. Lets help the police put him behind bars!​

I would like to begin by apologising in the delay in appointing an ambassador to your region, but as I am sure you aware things have turned spectacularly terrible throughout not only our two regions but across the globe.

It is for this reason that I am contacting you now afraid, in light of the disasters you have experienced and the tragic deaths that have occurred here in Oceia, I would like to extend a hand in cooperation towards Theseus and request you do the same in turn so both our regions can get through this outbreak with as mush haste as possible.​

Regarding the Pokemon Frenzy

To the Esteemed Leaders of Theseus

In aiding and conversing with Oceia's neighbouring region of Santuare, it has come to my attention that the outside influence causing these attacks is some sort of conscious entity. Most likely, according to my scientific advisors, an extremely powerful psychic-typed pokemon.

With this knowledge in mind we have produced a theory to counter this pokemon's influence. Using technology similar to that of your communications tower, we believe it may be possible to produce some sort of interference to block the opposing "signal"and prevent it from having an effect on the pokemon within our regions. A simple concept, much like shouting something to hide part of a whispered conversation, but my advisors assure me it should prove effective and I am inclined to believe.

Unfortunately, we in the Oceia region use a different type of communications technology and as a result we lack the ability to test this method quickly. We would like to request that you make use of our data to test the theory and then supply us with the technology we need to produce our own interference (should the plan prove effective) in exchange for our cooperation and knowledge.​
