#11: Legendary Trios

I voted for the birds, beasts and lake trios :)


The regis and genies just never really appealed to me for some reason - I actually didn't even realise the existence of the regis for a long time lol :)


With the birds and beasts I just feel that each one in terms of their design is unique enough to stand alone as a legendary, as well as meshing well with their other trio counterparts if that makes any sense :) It's always fun as well asking people who their favourite bird/beast is as everyone tends to have very different answers depending on their associations with them, nostalgic or otherwise :)


In terms of the lake trio I loved the way they were caught in Sinnoh, and my love is mainly for Uxie who is the first and only "small/cute" legendary I've taken a liking to :)

The Lake trio because it my opinion they have the best designs, and you only have one roaming one to catch.

I vote the legendary beasts of Johto, because I always thought they had the best design and an interesting myth behind them, with Ho-oh and the burnt tower. The birds are nice too and the movie about them was good, but I guess I think the beasts look more appealing still :3 The newer trios, I haven't come into contact with as much, but I do like the looks of Unova's, especially in their alternate forms.

I voted for Tornadus/Thundurus/Landorus. Although their Incarnate forms look retarded, their Therian forms are actually pretty cool. All three are also really good both in-game and competitively.

My favorite trio are the Regis. I love the lore and designs they have. I actually put forth a lot of effort to capture these on Ruby.
