13 days left... Holidays! Time off?

    Can't enjoy and celebrate Christmas times without getting some time off from school and work. Do you get time off, or will you have to work or study over the Christmas/New Years days?

    Maybe you want to work then to earn extra cash? c:
     
    My temp job is ending this week apparently, but we had a job fair today for another position at the company so there are high chances of me staying since I already work here. Start date is early January though, so it looks like I'll have holiday time off regardless! :D Unless I can get my temp job extended. lol

    looking forward to the zzz otherwise
     
    We get a little vacation, but my school is being so cheap with vacations this year it isn't even funny. We get half the amount of half days as last year, the year started in late August instead of early September, and all our week-long vacations are so short! Not to mention all the terrible rules they've made, but I digress.
     
    I work as a janitor in an elementary school and while the kids have about 2 weeks off...I still have to go in and clean what I don't know. What's there to clean when no one is in school. They call it deep cleaning and I call it a gigantic basket of NOPE!

    It's the holidays I'd rather be with friends and family than an empty school for 2 weeks.
     
    I'm at college right now and we get exactly two weeks off starting next Wednesday. We're in until 21st but it's usually not much work in the run up to Christmas. Back on the 4th which gives plenty of times to get over any post new years hangovers lmao.
     
    I will likely have to work Christmas Eve and New Years Eve / Day. We do get Christmas day off as a paid holiday, but for the others, they'll schedule some of us. If I'm lucky maybe one of those I won't work. I'm hoping!
     
    I have mock exams all this week, and then when school ends I'll have to spend time over Christmas doing my coursework. Although, it's actually quite interesting so I don't think it'll be that bad.
     
    I wouldn't want to work on the Christmas Eve/Day themselves o: I hope you who must, will be alright.
     
    I actually am waiting to start a new job on the 1st, so I don't have to work again until then. Such a difficult time to switch jobs. Rather boring but in a way it's kind of nice. :)
