the school grounds:
Ground Floor:
The entrance to the school is a large, grand, wooden doorway - surrouned by tall, marple pillars.
The entrance hall itself, the hub of the school, functions as the main reception.The room, with an exceptionally high ceiling, is decorated with modern furnishing - white floor tiles, a long sleek maple desk and the everwaiting, beaming receptionist. A stairway wraps around the right and back walls, leading upwards to the first floor hallway.
The library is a large, open space with room to study and relax. There are sofas, desks and drinks dispensers available to students - although it is suggested to keep the noise down.
The only two classrooms of Gilded Halls are also located on this floor, 1A and 1B. The corridor leading out between the classrooms (left) follows a path outside to Valiant House - one of two residence buildings on the grounds. The wide, rear doorway leads outside to the sports facilities and other outdoor areas.
First Floor:
The main hallway is similarly decorated to the entrance hall, sharing the same stairway and colour choices.
The door to the headmaster's office is made of large, dark wood with intricate carvings of mythical beats around the edge. This door is normally locked, you will only gain entrance by invitation.
The nurses' office is also located on the first floor. Ms. Fallcrest, the only nurse who stays at the school permanently, is an excellent healer. Around her mid-fifties, she is a friendly and welcoming woman. Whilst tending to a patient she often hums or mumbles, she feels that it helps soothe them and speed up the healing process. Some might say her technique is too good to be true, it's very effective. You may control her yourselves, as and when she is needed - your injuries at school will heal faster than normal, but remember to be fair and not constantly utilise her. Some guidelines:
+ Cuts/bruisings, after initial treatment, will be gone in a few hours.
+ Fractures and single bone breakages will take at least a day.
+ More severe cases will need much more time.

There are two buildings for students to live in, Valiant House will be housing the first students to the academy. River Lodge will be reserved for later cohorts.
Valiant House can be accessed from outside, and is situated due-west (left) of the main school building. It is almost of similar modern decor to the entrance hall, the centre comprises of a small kitchen area, with multiple sofas and a large screen television. The ceiling of the lounge is very high, due to there being nothing above it on the first floor - it is open. Adjacent to of this communal lounge are rooms 1, 2, 3 and 4.
There is also a lift, leading to the circuit corridor of the first floor. Off of this are rooms 5-8.
All bedroom have two, single beds (whether both used or not), general storage facilities and an ensuite bathroom. You may discuss the finer details of your room with your roommate, such as colour and additional decorations.
