• Only the following games will are recognized for this event:
  Pokémon Black 2 version [Official Nintendo game]
  Pokémon White 2 version [Official Nintendo game]
  Pokémon Blaze Black 2 version [Hack; Vanilla or Completed]
  Pokémon Volt White 2 version [Hack; Vanilla or Completed]
• The race will not be exclusive for the current existing 17 type clubs. Non-elemental type clubs' types will be decided by random number generator: From number 1 to 17, they are arranged in an alphabetic order, with Bug-type as Number 1 with Water-type as Number 17.
• Only one member (including the club owner themselves) can represent one Club.
• This event is only exclusive for club owner and members.
• Representatives will be chosen by that club's owner and the club owner can decide to participate as well. But no one should force or badger an another person to join the event. The club owner is not entitled to represent his/her own club.
• Participants are free to restart as much as they want, they can even switch a game. But only one game save at a time; the older save no longer counts. Points are reset to zero points for every restart.
• Participants are strongly advised to copy/back up save often, if possible. Points will be reset to zero if save file is corrupted and restarting. However, points do not reset if you are using a back up save.
• Any forms of cheats, hacks, edits, save file exchanges are prohibited, if found out the said participating club will be disqualified.
• Once a Representative quits, an another person from the same club can fill up the slot for once only. If no replacement are presented for 48 hours, that club is automatically disqualified. If the second Representative quits again, the club is automatically disqualified.
• Trades (including Pokémon obtained with PokéTransfer, including in-game trades) and PokéRadar are only permitted for those who play the official Pokémon Black 2 and White 2 versions. Additionally they are limited for using the said method for only twice, regardless the Pokémon are traded as Eggs or not.
• Capture at least one Pokemon of your type to officially begin.
• [S-HIGHLIGHT]For Pokémon that changes their type upon evolving, please read this carefully.[/S-HIGHLIGHT]

  For Pokémon that gains additional type: For example, Tepig is permitted to be use in both Fire and Fighting-type runs.
  For Pokémon that changes their type completely For example, Eevee is not allowed to be used if it evolves into a type that has nothing to do with the participant's representative type. While Eevee must remain as an Eevee for the rest of the Race, in case for a Normal-type runs.
  For Pokémon that has a different typing than the official games For example, Hoothoot is a Psychic and Flying-type in Pokémon Volt White 2 and Blaze Black 2 versions, so they are allowed to participate for the Psychic and Flying-type runs, but not Normal-type, which is Hoothoot's official type instead of Psychic. Alternatively, for the official games. Hoothoot can only go for Normal and Flying-type runs, but not Psychic.
  For Pokémon that changes form and changing its type Castform is not allowed for the Ice, Water and Fire-type runs, while it is only allowed for Normal-type runs without changing its type by using moves that can alter its type. Darmanitan with the Zen Mode Ability is only allowed for Fire-type runs.
• HM Helpers are allowed; they do not need to match your type. But they cannot take part in any battles. You are only allowed to have the maximum of 2 HM Helpers.
• All Legendary and/or Mythical Pokemon are banned from being used. However, you are free to capture them and deposit them in Storage PC.
• You should update your progress in your participation post (sign up form as seen from quote). You can simply write a line or write a journal or even fiction for a day, just make sure the events are mentioned explicitly. GOAL

Supposedly there's nothing wrong with adjusting the rules to fit in the official BW as well as BB1 and VW1, but I need to talk to Alex. :)

A trusty friend, KetsuekiR, and I have done a quick research and comparison on the game play hour difference between the official Black and White versions, Black 2 and White 2 versions with Volt White 2 and Blaze Black 2.

There should be no problem if the gap is +/- 30 minutes, which is the gap between Blaze Black 2 and Volt White 2 with the official Black 2 and White 2 versions. But there's an obvious one hour gap between Volt White 2 and Blaze Black 2 and the official Black and White versions. Therefore, Black and White is crossed out without a doubt.

Blaze Black 1 and Volt Black 1 on the other hand are technically possible as it provides 649 Pokémon like its hack-sequels. I can't give you a definitive answer on the game play hour difference between those hacks and B2W2 though, as I'm not sure about BB1/VW1's game play hour. From what I gathered across the web, BB1 and VW1's game play hour is actually longer than B2W2 and BB2/VW2, around 3-5 hours.

If you feel that's fair enough for you, you will be permitted to participate. But I will need to tailor you some special rules and points gaining system, for obvious reason.

Take your time to decide, after you've decided just make a formal participation post like CharmedGardy. I'll list you the tailored rules as soon as possible! Be warned, not all Rival Battles count, for example any Bianca Battles don't count. These adjustments are made so that the whole Race is still fair, whilst playing similar games.

P.S. (This is actually for everyone, not you haha.) Blaze Black and Volt White are allowed because of the reasons stated from above and the participant is still traveling the Unova region.

I started the game and went to Bianca to get my starter Pokémon, which I named Starter, because I had so much inspiration. I beat Melvin (Hugh) simply by spamming Tackle with Tepig and won. The journey continued and I skipped trainers when I could to get to the tall grass on Route 20 to catch a Pidove. While a quarter of the Pokémon there should be Pidove, all I met were Purrloin and a couple of Sewaddle for a long time, which was annoying. But walking around a lot had to end in running into a Pidove, which I caught and named Lenny (+10).
That's where I stopped, because my emulation was slow and it wasn't fun to play with. I decided to download a newer version, but that one required some random dll files that were missing on my laptop. I added the missing file, and rebooting gave another missing file error. After adding five files this way, I got another random error message, which I haven't managed to fix yet. So yeah, I got a little delay there.

After trying many and many things over the last two weeks to fix my laptop didn't want to get working again until I reset its operating system back to its begin value, a clear Windows 8. A lot of mess as I had to reinstall everything again, but things are working again. :D
I've been doing some things today. At first I had to solo with Lenny thanks to the lack of other available flying type Pokémon. My battle versus Cheren was a close one, but I managed to win it. The move Frustiation helped a lot. (Why do they give it away so early?) Work Up was a nice help against Roxie later, who was a piece of cake. Twice Work Up and two times Air Cutter did the thing and Lenny, who was a Tranquill by now, survived with only 8 HP damage. (I blacked out against some guy with an Elekid earlier though.) Later it was finally time to catch more Pokémon, the amazing bat duo Priscilla (Zubat) and Trianna (Woobat). Burgh wasn't a problem either. It's ace has 4× weakness against my monotype, so that's a free badge.
Scores:

+2×20 for evolving Lenny and Priscilla to Tranquill and Golbat respectively
+3×50 for beating Cheren, Roxie and Burgh

Haven't done a lot, only events of importance were catching Angie (Sigilyph) (+10) and beating Colress. Of course he had to have steel Pokémon, exactly the type which literally all my attacks were ineffective against. And then there was Magnemite too, steel plus electric. (Elesa is going to be terrible.) Meanwhile, I've obtained TMs Dig, Echoed Voice, Rock Tomb and Snarl. (+4×10)

Not the most interesting day, I did some grinding in preparation for challenging Elesa. Priscilla and HM Master evolved (the latter doesn't count up)! (+20) Also I found a Combee, which I realized to be a flying type after I ran away... Yup, one of my brightest moments of the game. I captured Caroline later (+10) and evolved her right away (+20).

Just battled Elesa today (+50): she wasn't as hard as I had expected, I stocked up healing items for nothing. She just kept spamming Volt Switch, which was enough to one-shot two out of my five team members already. Blame type disadvantage. While she had terrible hax with Static (why does that always work?), I had some luck on my side too with Confuse Ray. I recorded a video of the battle, because I expected this to be the most exciting battle of the Race. It's my first time recording something, so I'm still experimenting with the tools, but it's not terrible.
And before I forget to mention it, I also got a +20 for buying TM Thunder Wave and obtaining TM Volt Switch after I beat Elesa.
