#5: I can drink to that!

Are you a person to drink any form of alcoholic beverage?

Well, I've never been drunk before, but I do drink often, I just don't drink a lot at once. Whenever I go out, I typically drink a beer or two, maybe a glass or two of wine, especially when I have dinner to go with it.

It's more the cost of the drinks that holds me back for the most part, and I don't really see the appeal of getting drunk for the heck of it. When I get depressed I do other stuff to deal with it besides drink heavily.

tl;dr I drink often but always in moderation.

I had my first beer at 16, then slowly became the "lone drinker" of the family. Primarily the reason why I drank so much was because it actually felt good. I would pretty much drink every freaking alcoholic drink out there. From plain beer to a few shots of tequila. Holidays were a huge thing for alcohol, especially new years, where I would have a case to myself and pass out until a couple days later.

TODAY, I'm actually sober from all that. I'm not much of a huge drinker than I was before. I don't buy alcohol anymore. The only times I buy or get a drink is with my friends or with my boyfriend. He and I are both wine fanatics so we would always finish up a glass of wine or two.

And I actually feel good about not buying alcohol. Not only because I'm trying to stay as sober as possible, it's actually because whenever I'm out with friends, they can always count on having a designated driver...which is me.

You all seem to be angels in your answers!
I'm not a heavy drinker but for me, Beer = Life.

I jest. I do like a good pint and its quite often every other day. This is all because I'm a university so my life is quite sociable as I live with 4 of my best friends. I have my beer buddy who we just enjoy going to the pub and having a few pints.

I was really bad last September to December as I went out around 4 or 5 times a week and got stupid drunk, so much so that unsurprisingly I got very ill by years end.

I used to go out to clubs and get really drunk as I said and although I do still want to go out I think I'll refrain from getting too drunk as that phase has well and truly ended. Thank God, I don't think my liver could handle any more.
