Do you believe in it or any other variations of the rule? Would you ever eat something off the floor?

  • If it's my own floor, or a floor I know probably isn't too dirty, and I get it immediately and whatever I dropped looks like it didn't take too much damage (no visible dirt or anything)? Okay, wipe off the affected part, cut it off if I'm worried, it's probably still fine.

Any other floor, especially a public one? No thank you.

Ewww no, if it touches the floor it belongs in the garbage can, period.

  • If it's dry food and it's my own floor, then it's more like a 20 second rule for me. Might extend this to a few of my friend's/family member's houses, but other than that, into the garbage it goes.
