5th Gen 5th Gen Pokemon of the Week #7: Snivy

What do I think of Snivy? Look at Snivy. He's a baller, he knows what he wants and he's ready to take it. He loses his arms when he evolves? You think he cares? He gets prouder, more regal. He's gonna go all contrary leaf storm on yo ass if you think you can question his limblesness.

Did I enjoy it as a grass type starter? Refer to the above. Bulbasaur ain't got nothing on this grassy snake yo.

Did I enjoy its evolution line? Damn straight.

Advantages and disadvantages? Contrary. What else do i need to say?

I bet you probably may not have noticed but Serperior actually does have arms still present on it.

The arms are shorter compared to the pre-evolutions and the colour tends to blend in with the back of its body but they are there.

Nevermind. It's just bulbapedia being weird... Mine doesn't show up either...

The arms show up really great on its back sprite! Check it out:

I love how it's acting so serious and like a true gentleman. Definitely fits in with the design theme as well, especially when you consider European royalty tends to have their hands behind their back when standing on royal duties.
