A couple of questions regarding the Pokedex

I'm wondering if it's possible to have the Pokedex display a different set of sprites on its Forms page, rather than the sprites used for battles. I want to do this because the battle sprites use different sizes that dont fit very well in the dex's forms page, and also because I want to use GIF files for the battle sprites and PNG files for the dex (the dex keeps crashing for me when i try to load the Forms page with GIFs).

I already have a separate folder with all the resized PNG images, I'm just wondering how to change the scripts (if it's even possible) to force the Dex to draw from that folder, rather than the Battlers folder.

My second question is a bit simpler maybe. I just want to know if its possible to display the shiny sprites in the Forms page in the same way you can view the Male/Female versions of each Pokemon.

I would guess it would have to be change in PokemonPokedex. But I looked for a path-name that refers to the folder with images and couldn't find it. Probably, the image is already saved somewhere, meaning that you could either save another image for each pokemon, or you could load them in the PokemonPokedex like all other pictures are loaded. Either way, more complicated than you would like. Maybe there is a way to resize the original images in the code? It wouldn't look as nice, but it might be a start seeing what your problem is with the current pokedex...
