4th Gen A G/S Remake?

I hope they do, If they ever have a chance to do it.
Some new pokemon would be nice like Deoxys in FR/LG.
Along with some new evolutions.
 
Yeah next year or 2010 is most likely the release of them. I mean after D/P/P they really should remake them because personally I don't hope they add any more Pokémon... 493 is more than enough.

So all we can do is waiting for just a piece of information.

That would be a completely new game, set in the next generation.

Were talking about a remake of the old Gold and Silver versions. Kinda like Fire Red and Leaf Green are for the original Red and Blue versions.

So this topic is where people have been arguing whether of not a remake is going to be made. And, any evidence they may have to support their theory.

We don't have any real evidence but people said the hints of Johto from DM/PL/PT and Nintendo having the rights for DawnSilver DuskGold are the best 'evidence'.
 
I'm sure there will be one, there really isn't any other options for a game to make for the DS. I think nintendo has learned from sony's mistake on discontinuing a popular system (ps2) and they also did copyright the names duskgold and dawnsilver.

That's what I meant, and it's pretty good evidence if you ask me.
 
What would be the really best thing nintendo could do it a simple (not really) complete game involving Kanto, Orange Islands, Jhoto and Hoenn. I know that won't happen (yet at least) but won't we all like that picture sailing through the orange islands for the first time and continuing on to the jhoto region only to go the the hoenn. that would be a great game because of the story line.

I wish I could agree you! But Nintendo wouldn't make any more moneyif they did that...
 
If jasmine was a pretty big arrow pointing to a G/S remake, then the johto data will be even weirder.

however, we will never know if there will be a remake.
it comes down to 3 possibilites.

Nintendo announces they will never make it.
Nintendo announces they will make it soon, but not immediately.
Nintendo announces they will make it right away.

however, seeing all the things in sinnoh that talks about johto, i think the latter will win.

Mmmm...the Orange Islands thing will never happen. The anime likes to make up weird stuff (Battle Frontier in Kanto? Whut? o.o) and that was a show-only arc that led up to Johto. They became the Sevii Islands in game canon.

There really isn't any reason to not believe that a GS remake is on the horizon. DP were chock-full of Johto references, and...I mean...there's Johto location data. I don't think you can get much more obvious than that.

I'm definitely going to get DawnSilver (points at avvie) when it's released, because I really loved the plot. Johto itself was a beautiful region, with all of the towers and Asian architecture, and I'm really interested in seeing how it'll look with DS graphics. I still like the Hoenn region better...but Johto was undoubtedly beautiful.

No, I would be excited about a GSC Remake...but after that would come people asking for an RSE REMAKE!!!! :P

My opinion on GS remake, is unless they do a Crystal as well, or feature the enhanced storyline of Crystal, I'll be pretty upset :(

You offer a really good point.

Maybe they will keep making remakes as the series goes on. Remember when GBA games came out, they had the best graphics ever, for a hand held.

Now the hand helds have better graphs that the console systems back then. Evenly the graphs today will be considered sucky by people our age.

So they might make one of RSE, you never know.

This thread includes both of them... The evidence is the Nintendo have rights on the name(or versions) called DuskGold and DawnSilver.
