A New Professor in Town - Kanto Adventure PG13 OOC Thread

I've been very busy with work, but todays a monday so we should be slow all day... Which means I can probably have a post up today!
 
I was gonna hang on for a bit and let some others catch up and make sure I'm not racing ahead too much. But I might aswell wrap up the Jagged Pass with another post soon :P

I think i'm going to have to drop out of your RP Slls, i've been holding you up. I just got real busy i'm working 45 hours a week, then coaching little league baseball... Now i'm getting all my things ready to move into my apartment at school... Plus with my RP being accepted i've just got alot of things going on..

Thanks for accpeting me at least, I had fun and enjoyed it while it lasted :).

Name- Mimi Nova


Age-14


Gender- Girl.

Appearance- Mimi has short, choppy light brown hair. It reaches past her ears, but above her neck. Very rarely do you see her with her hair pulled up. She has a nice oval shape face and deep green, almond shaped eyes. Mimi's nose and cheeks are covered with freckles from a sun burn she once had. Her skin is a cream color. She does get sunburn easily, so she has to make sure she has sunblock on whenever she is out in the sun. She is about 5'4 and weighs 115 pounds. She doesn't really care what she eats as long as it is yummy and fills her up.

Mimi has a wide variety of clothes, but she is usually seen in a pair of short faded denim shorts and a plain colored tank top. Her favorite pair of shoes are a pair of hot pink flip flops with white hearts printed on the straps.

Mimi attaches her Pokeballs onto a charm bracelet she wears on her left wrist. It has six clips that can hold six(that's a shocker) pokeballs. Once she catches a pokemon she puts a sticker that represents the type of pokemon she had caught on the poke ball. If she can not find a sticker of something that represents the Pokemon she will put a sticker of the type of pokemon on the ball.

Personality- You mainly see Mimi with a smile on her face. She even hides her pain with a smile. Mimi believes that if other people see her frown then that will make them unhappy, and Mimi tries to please everyone. She is a very cheerful girl. But, she can be very gullible at times. Even though Mimi is a sweet girl she has trust issues due to her father unexpectedly leaving and her friends turning on her. Since then, Mimi had kinda drifted away from her friends and began turning to Pokemon to be her "friends." Mimi tends to get frustrated easily when she can not figure something out.

She obviously has a soft spot for most Pokemon. But, she is very weary of new Pokemon especially from the Hoenn region. It just takes her a little time to get use to new things. Even though she had lost many friends when she was young, she really does want to make new friends on her journey. But, it will take awhile for them to earn her trust.

Likes| Candy, small Pokemon, Pink, Purple, Rainbow, her charm bracelet, soft pillows, Soup, Winning, sleeping, eating

Dislikes| Cabbage, Spinarak, Grey, sore losers, old people, her dad, her "ex friends", Team Aqua, Team Magma, hypocrites
History- When Mimi was about four her family was very tight on funds. Her dad, stressed out, ran away and has seem to disappear off of the planet. Mimi never really liked her dad anyways, he would always flirt with her friends' mom and would come home late at night with this awful stench and he would wobble around and mumble his words together.
In school kids would make fun of Mimi for not having a dad, she was surprised that some of her old friends wouldn't talk to her anymore. She was too young to realize why though. But one little girl would still talk to her. Her name was Emily and she was a sweet heart. Mimi trusted Emily. Mimi and Emily would be together 24/7 and just have a great time together. They both loved Pokemon and would talk about their favorite things for hours.

At the age of 9, what was left of the Nova family, which included Gloria Nova(Mother), Aiden Nova(Older Brother), and Marigold Nova(Older Sister), moved to a very small island off the coast of the Kanto region. Her Mom said that they would work at a Pokemon ranch in exchange for food and a house. Mimi was very disappointed that she wouldn't be able to see Emily any more, but she did get to work with Pokemon all day. It was a great way for Mimi to learn about Pokemon. Sure enough, Mimi would spend every day, from dusk to dawn, outside with the Pokemon. Eventually, Mimi would start talking to the Pokemon, mainly small pokemon like Rattata and Pidgeys and they would just sit there and listen. Of coarse they wouldn't talk back but, Mimi enjoyed just being able to share her thoughts with some one.

When Mimi turned 14 she heard about Professor Maple. It interested her very much and she decided she wanted to go to Hoenn to learn about pokemon battles and the methods of a trainer and maybe, just maybe, find her dad and tell him what a big fat jerk faced loser he is.

Ooh, I hope this is good enough! This is the second role play on here that I have done. But, the first I did was horrible, not the role play but my skills was really bad. So, I have been practicing a lot....
