Resolved: A Pairing Field on the Profile

Just a little thing that came up recently in a discussion I was having, but I would like to see a field on the profile that a user can fill in for forum pairings (not the claim pairings we currently have, which are for anime and game characters and the like).

If this actually takes off, other features could include a link to the other user's profile and also a date counter since the pairing started (for those that care to win the "Dedicated" emblem), and space for multiple pairs (I've seen people with up to four pairs before). Maybe even a resurrection of the "family" thing.

It's nothing super important, but I feel like it would make the tradition a bit more fun for users that way, and perhaps be a bit more efficient than the pairing thread we currently have.

It does get annoying to list all that in your sig and makes it look cluttery. I think most people list their pairings and family in their about me area, but since pairs and families are so common on PC still, I wouldn't mind having a spot for it.

I'm all for this to get added. It'll be a huge benefit for members who pair together, and having a date of your pairing recorded will definitely make it easier to get the pairing emblem as well.

oh i like this idea. i must let the world know that Lost Heart is my pair!

Aaaaaa, I hope it goes through. I know some people say pairings aren't supposed to be super serious or w/e, but lets face it, some members on here stay paired for 98 years, and I think it would be cute to show that off.
