A question about FFXI

Well yesterday I saw FFXI at Wal-Mart for 90 bucks and I was wondering if you have to pay to play online? (I know it comes with a Disk Drive but I am not sure about if there was a cost, but I am almost sure there is)

Yes, it?s not an option to play it offline. Though, really it wouldn?t work offline anyways. Some spells and techniques are so powerful you have to wait ten minutes or so to use them again, so your party members have to help you out quite a bit.

I've also been wondering if there was a monthely fee or some other kind of fee to play Final Fantasy XI as I already have the network adapter and am saving up enough money for the HDD/FFXI...

Yeah, there?s playonline?s fee, I?m not sure how much it is. Probably $5-10 a month, but you would need a credit card then.

-_- Ok that sucks, not only I have to buy the 90 dollar game, but also get a 40 dollar network adapter and also pay the monthly fee. For all that I can go find other FF games (might get Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, try to find Final Fantasy VII and other games for all that).

yeah get ff tactics advance i got it its awesome i also just got ffcc now that is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo awesome you really shouldnt pay a monthly fee i was gonna buy but then -_-
