A Remake of a Remake

    Now that Pokemon Black and White are out, people highly believe that there will be a Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire remake (People believe it will be called AquaSapphire and MagmaRuby, which makes sense). But since Pokemon Firered and Leafgreen were out in that same generation, do you think there would be a remake of Firered and Leafgreen? i highly doubt it, but i could understand why they would remake it. What do you think?
     
    i doubt that there gonna make a firered,leaf green remake too.I think they will make a ruby sappire remake
     
    I don't see them remaking remakes in the foreseeable future. Definitely seems too soon to be making remakes of remakes.
     
    I can see them remaking FRLG in the future, but not this generation. Let's give Kanto a rest, it was already featured in the first four generations. In my opinion Kanto is a bland region with next to zero plot.The good old days of RB were wonderful and all, but Kanto hasn't really aged well. If they were going to remake it, I would like to see new areas and maybe a better story. Things don't have to stay exactly the same. ._.
     
    I doubt they make a remake of an actual remake but I see the possibility of the yellow remake, as the game was pretty unique in it's own right.
    Although it has been claimed to play at the world championships, data for a Kanto champion remix was found in B/W.
    I mean, you never know, we may see Kanto in 3D one day, the possibilities are endless.
     
    I personally doubt we'll get an R/S remake. So, naturally, I doubt they're trying for a 3rd kanto game.

    Don't get me wrong, I love all the remakes, but I don't think we'll be seeing any remakes any time soon.

    all i kno is eventually they will make a kanto DS game
     
    Since this is pretty much an exclusive video game only discussion, this thread probably belongs in General Pokemon Gaming.

    Nah, I don't think Kanto will make it to the DS. HGSS was enough for Kanto.
    But, think of it... maybe in Gen VI, we'll have Sinnoh remakes, then in Gen VII, Unova/Isshu remakes. ._. So yeah, time does fly fast.

    I don' think there's any point in remaking remakes...
     
    I think I'd piss gasoline if they remade a remake. That's a dumb idea. Like Kirbychu said, Kanto has been in all of the first four generations; give the place a break. It's not fun anymore when we've run through it nearly four times. And I personally don't think even Nintendo is that money hungry to remake FRLG. However, do take into consideration that they are probably the worst remakes ever...but that's my opinion, don't take that into account lolol
     
    I highly doubt it!
    Besides it's already remade in HGSS, so, IMO, FRLG will be the last think they'll even think about re-making!
     
    The only remake of a remake I want to see is Yellow (or FR/LG with features of Yellow implemented). But I don't think it'll be possible.
     
    I personally do not see it happening for at least another generation or two, if ever. There's no need, kanto has been now more or less overused, and there's no need to try to cram too much into one gen anyways (RSE remakes if they do happen will be enough along with a third version to B&W).
     
    I agree that a remake of the Hoenn region games [R/S/E] would be a great idea. But please. No more Kanto. Stop feeding the nostalgiatards, they are annoying as is when I go to my Facebook.
