Concerning Maggey's case being skipped, I can understand why the show did that because it isn't important to the second game's overall plot. If the anime decides to animate the third game n the future, perhaps it'll be referenced. And I too would love Rise from the Ashes to still be animated in some way.

Okay, onto today's episode.

Well, Franziska still likes her whip there, haha. Some of her reactions from the game were fun seen being animated. Mia made an appearance, but it seems the part where she was in the detention center with Nick before the trial was skip, which proves Fraziska's point concerning spirit medium's abilities. The folding screen from the game has also been skipped, although the anime pointed out gun burns.

And today a new episode aired.

Pearl is still cute with her shipping Maya and Phoenix, haha. So it does seem the Psych Lockes are out of the anime, but Pearl and Phoenix's conversation concerning the urn is still shown. Oh, and the hole in the folding screen has been referenced (yeah I'll keep mentioning that, lol). Otherwise, not much thoughts on today's episode.

So in regards to this new episode...what the hell is pacing even? I mean, low budget's one thing, but this should have been the most emotional part of the entire case

well, save for the verdict. Keeping the hope alive.

and it felt like things were moving too quick to have any sort of punch. And I felt this way about the last part of Turnabout Goodbyes as well (which was a damn shame). It usually only lasts an episode, and considering the case it probably had more to do with popularity (well, lack thereof) than scheduling, but...damn.

If talking about the last episode of Turnabout Big Top, yeah as I was watching I feel something was off when Arco first appeared. I think because the story with Arco and his brother being taken by the ringmaster got shafted/not explained as well as in the game. Even yesterday's episode the backstory got skipped more or less. There's also how several investigation parts got skipped too.

Speaking of yesterday's trial episode, I kinda like how the other characters reenact the crime scene. Regina realizing her mistake from that incident I think the episode did better than the game, too. Looking forward to Farewell, My Turnabout.

Today's first episode of Farewell My Turnabout just aired.

Wow, so it looks like Larry took Lotta's place for this case in the anime. Probably won't affect the trials that much since I don't remember Lotta taking a stand. Still, threw me off by surprise though I guess the showrunners wanted to give Larry some screentime.

There's one important scene skipped, where Phoenix meets with Edegeworth and the two talking about the suicide of Adrian's mentor's murder, but that's most likely will be mentioned in the trail I bet.

Wtf the ending lol
I found really funny how Crunchy (and therefore Horrible Subs) translates any reference to Miso Soup as hamburgers or related stuff lol.

Also, the locks LOL, they skipped magatamas but not psyche-locks. I really don't understand.

Managed to catch up the last two episodes.

Yeah, I noticed there's a lot of skipping around with the evidence and only one pointed out was the photo of Andrews being too short for the costume. Today's episode Celeste's suicide is mentioned, but a lot has changed. Apparently, at least from subs, it's changed to Celeste being Andrews' sister, maybe because her codependency on her mentor is complicated. Seems also the show changed to the suicide note indeed being Celeste's and not Juan forging it. I really feel the show is skipping lots of Juan's character there.

One thing I do like though is Phoenix and Edgeworth's conversation in today's episode, pretty sweet. Glad also they kept Gumshoe on the pursuit getting De Killer.

Oh, something I think I didn't mention yet but lol the animation of Mia while in Pearl's clothes. Kinda strange seeing that in action.

Yay, I finally finished this series! Gotta say, I knew literally nothing about Ace Attorney before watching this anime, but now I'm a huuuuge fan of it, haha. I managed to binge on the first four games during the second half of this show, and I have no regrets. :D

I'd love to see an adaptation for Trials and Tribulations more than anything in the world, but sadly it doesn't seem very likely. Ah, well... =/

So, final episode of the anime.

I do like the extra detail of De Killer watching the courtroom. I can't remember if it happened in the games, but yay Maya copying that tape there. Franziska's appearance there seems a bit less dramatic, though it's because the other evidence she found were skipped.

Speaking of Trials and Tribulations, would have been very cool if they slip in Godot as like a teaser of sorts even though the third game probably won't get an anime adaptation, lol.

Even though there were lots of stuff I wished weren't rushed, this is still a pretty fun adaptation overall!
