Okay, there's only one prob. when adding a pokemon, the icon sprite. It always turns into an egg the the icons go over 500! Here's an answer someone posted

    Spoiler:

before, but the sprite reverted back. EX: Unknown Icon=520 I added 10 so I could get ten slots, after I changed it to 530, it turned into a pink wormadam sprite? What's up with that??

Someone please help, thanks in advance.

This really should have been asked in the essentials thread for better results but,
when inserting new pokemon you need to rename the icons from the number that
your new pokemon is taking and increase each of them. Then make a new icon
with the number slot your pokemon is taking and it should show the icon of your
    pokemon.

kay, I already did it in essentials thread. The answer that didn't really work is in my first post. Also, as I said before, when I rename the file, the image changes.

Ok, so what I understand from this is that once you rename the unknown sprite to 530, it turns in to a pink wormadon sprite? That's probably because you're not replacing the actual icon at 530 (because 530 is a pink wormadon icon). What you are probably doing is renaming the uknown sprite to 530 (2), which means it isn't being used.

There are two ways to fix this. Either:
    - Rename the uknown sprite to icon 540.

OR (this is probably better in the long end):
-Start from the top E.G. the last one in pokestarter is 539 add as many slots as you want (lets say 100) and rename that one (539) to 639. Do that for each one until you have 100 empty slots between 493 and 539. That's where you'll be able to insert the icons of your 100 pokemon.

You could also just try to delete the icons after 493 xD But I think they're there for a reason. (So I would advise you not to do this)

Hope one of these helped :P

That wording sparked a thought. When you rename your new icon to one of the numbers that previously already had an icon (e.g. the pink Wormadam at 530), the thumbnail image of your new icon turns into the pink Wormadam, correct?

That's just the thumbnail. If you open it, it's your new icon. The thumbnails of the pictures in that folder just haven't been updated. I can't remember exactly how to update them (I seem to recall clicking Refresh didn't work, despite the logic of doing so), but it'll eventually change.

There's no problem; the thumbnails just aren't updating.

This wasn't an Essentials problem (it's a Windows problem), but you didn't know that at the time. You shouldn't have made a new thread about it, even if you think you're being overlooked. I encourage people to not answer questions made in new threads when they should have been asked in the existing ones.

As far as I can tell, those extra icons are superfluous, and can be deleted safely. Alternate forms are handled in a different way (e.g. 201_01.png for Unown A). The extra icons seem to be there just for the sake of being included in the kit, and they haven't been renamed to what they should be because of sheer laziness/"I'm not doing all your work for you"-type attitude.

I'm sorry about that, someone told me to not do this before :\ I just have a tendency to help out people xD But I know it keeps increasing the spam threads, so I'll try not to next time :P

Ok, great! I wasn't sure about this, I knew that Alternate forms were handled that way and I wasn't sure what these were being used for anyway, thanks for telling me that :)
