Ads

I realise that advertisements are how things on the Internet are kept free to access and all, but I personally just don't like them. As such I've had AdBlock for longer than I can remember and it's installed in some way, shape or form on any browser I use. Interestingly, I have experienced issues with unusually high CPU usage with Internet Explorer's AdBlock in the past, but that's just the price I pay.

What are ads?

Only ads that bug me are the ones in free Android apps.

Ads, I hate them. I haven't seen one in like 2 years now since Adblocker became my lover.

Some ads can be okay, but if they are like the ones on youtube (a 1 minute ad to watch a 25sec video with no skip) then it does get annoying. I ended up getting adblockplus eventually, because there used to be Drive-by ads that would hit, didn't matter what site you were on.

It depends on the ad really. If it's just a window off to the side, I couldn't really care less. However, since my internet is like a data package, when an ad turns into a video, I start freaking out because my internet can't take it. XD

Honest to God, does anyone know how to get an Adblock type thing for your smartphone? I'm so sick of getting an ad I can't skip on YouTube every single video I watch. Every single. I'm not even joking. :/

This one is in fact possible on android. I don't know the specifics as I don't use it myself, but I know it exists somewhere ;)

I'm okay with ads, until they start making popups appear. It's even worse when you realize that you have to pay for an adblocker for iOS. One time I came across a particularly intrusive ad that froze up the computer.

Granted, I think I was using IE (shame on me >:O)

On the computer I use the only true god Adblocker.
