    Aether Foundation.

What do you think about them? Shall they have a return? How about Lusamine? Discuss.

I think the Aether Foundation will return, though I don't think they'll be the main villains since Wicke and Gladion have been running them since the end of S/M. They could still carry over to US/UM as trying to work out the science with Necrozma.

That's assuming these games are sequels, though. If they aren't, then Gladion/Wicke won't be running the Foundation and they'll still probably be the villains.

Remember that Wicke was the only high-ranked figure who wasn't evil. She acted nice towards the player unlike Lusamine and Faba.

That's true, but unless she now owns the Foundation or something I can't see Aether turning good.

The Aether Foundation was a whole lot of nothing. There was never really any sense of their ultimate objectives, or their structure, or even how they fit into Alola as a whole. They were just kinda there. They did some bad stuff, and they did some good stuff. But they didn't really have much of an identity of their own outside of their absurdly youthful-looking psychotic President.

Irrespective of whether these games are sequels or not, I'd like the Aether Foundation to have some kind of an identity in them. Clear goals, clear involvement in the world at large, and a clear point. Not just a slightly more organised version of Team Skull.

I personally loved the Aether Foundation, everything about them just seemed really off which is fitting for an evil undercover incorporation. It's like you suspect them to have a hidden agena, but it still comes as a shock when you uncover the secret. I don't know what direction they could go from the way they turned out in Sun & Moon, but I really hope they are still around as I'd love to learn more about these guys.

I think that they will be back. Seems very likely.
