Well it's gen 6, which is always the best in anything
I don't really pay much attention to gym leaders tbh. Well Olympia has a good one... Valerie. don't really care about the rest of them. As for ORAS... up to Flannery they're good and then the rest idc again.
I'm struggling to find a game where I like more than 4 of the Gym Leaders so I'll just say agree for ORAS.
Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee are actually pretty fun games.
Disagree, they're horrible. You can't battle wild Pokémon, so by the end of the game the only two things you can do to get enough experience to defeat and catch Mewtwo (because in these versions, you can't just throw a Master Ball at him the first turn- you have to battle and defeat him and then throw the ball) are either to repeatedly catch Pokémon you already have way too many of already or rebattle the Elite Four over and over and over. That's not fun at all.
Agreed. They did eventually let us fly on Miraidon/Koraidon, but you both need to beat the whole dang game, including DLC's, for that and it just didn't quite feel the same to me. Potentially because you don't get any new areas to reach with them I guess... ORAS has those daily islands only accessible via Soaring.... not to mention flocks of Flying types you could bump into.
It's better to show up early than to show up late.
Disagree. I would even go so far as to claim they are overrated among those whose feedback should matter most. The newer gens, especially 8 & 9, desperately needed more dev-time, and the games suffered from not having that.
Contests should make a return in the next Pokémon game.
Disagree, they both have their good points. I like watching an anime dubbed in English so I can understand what's being spoken and not have to read subtitles (especially fast or brief ones that are there and then gone), but sometimes they don't have a good voice actor with the character(s). I remember this one character in Yugioh GX called Mad Dog, whom Zane Truesdale was dueling in his first underground duel. The English dub of him made his voice high-pitched and babyish (which is not at all how he looked if you clicked the link to the wiki page), whilst the original Japanese voice matched the character much better.
It's obnoxious and not at all fun when people make pre-made groups in MMORPGs for Player-Versus-Player content and get put in a match (via the Queue) against players who are all doing it solo, and (of course, being a pre-made group) utterly annihilate them.
