YES! I believe in Aliens and they exist. I don't believe that we're alone in the vast universe. There's many proof of the existence of Aliens than the bible. Probably it will be solved if the controversial Area 51 will confess.

There's also "proof" of a guy who can walk on water in the bible, so it's not a particularly reliable source =]

But yeah, I agree with everyone else who has said that it's stupid to think we have th universe to ourselves.

It seems to me given human nature, that contrary to so many depictions in popular culture, we would be the alien species invading their planet.
That is something I've been worrying about myself. And I believe it could be very true if we ever do find another planet with living creatures on it. >_<

Which is why I said earlier that we should not be afraid of aliens. Aliens are the ones who should be very afraid of us.

Though of course, who's to say alien nature is any different from human nature? They could be just as horrible as we are. Albeit more advanced, but hey, you don't need to be a saint to be capable of flying through space. XD

That brings up another point; who says that they have to be more advanced than us?

Many of them could constitute a primitive society.

There's too much junk on both the existence of extra terrestrial and the lack of it to really make a definite justifiable decision.

But if they do exist and watch us, they must get a real kick out of us XD

Oh yes. I read an Animorphs book once that got me thinking..."hey, what if aliens take our television programs at face value?" I mean, TV signals are being sent out into outer space....XD

Aliens could see episodes of Star Trek & Star Wars and whatnot and take them at face value, actually believing that we are capable of travelling at seven times the speed of light or more, XD. Furthermore, what really frightens me is that they might actually think that the Teletubbies are actual Earthlings. O_O

If so, we'd better prepare for annihilation yesterday. XD

why would they want to annihilate us? O.O
Don't they have better things to do? They could take up knitting or something XD

If we, with our puny telescopes and pathetically small radio telescopes, have found some planets from space around us that actually have water and reasonable climates, I believe there's no change life doesn't exist somewhere out there. We came to existense by chance, from a single molecule that was able to copy itself. Why wouldn't that happen somewhere else? I believe the chances of there being some other planet with carbon-based lifeforms are very, very high, and carbon might not be the only chemical element life can base itself.

There is someone ou there. You just wait.

Actually, I'm waiting for us to find bacteria from Mars. I really believe there's something alive there. Or, maybe not anymore, but definitely there was. Maybe we only find fossiles, who knows.

In any case, I really think the relevant question here is whether anyone has visited us or not. Frankly, I believe not, but you never know what the big, bad governments are hiding to get ahead of each other. I mean, science is in a serious lag, because even though military scientists come up with all sorts of new, useful equipment, they keep the info with themselves for 50 darned years before telling the public.

Thanks for ruining science, you military jerks. If someone really has visited us and they shimply shot whatever it was and then hid it, I'm seriously going to move away from this planet. ;)

...Wait... Ha, ha, I finally saw you here, Alakazam17

Do you actually believe that Hitler hid some UFO for his mad experiments? Or about the Russian military shooting down some UFO? The only thing that the military hid and finally announced the public is Area 51.

Life in Mars is highly possible. The climate there is just like in some places on Earth, where microbes would thrive. The moon Europa is also a candidate for lifeforms, it probably has a liquid ocean beneath that dirty ice floes.

i do not belive in aliens. there just a myth in my opionion, like who would have ever created them in the first place? i think its just makebelive....

I believe in aliens! Well it would be quite lonely if we were the only planet!

I say put one in front of me or get some live footage of one and I'd be a believer not saying I don't believe in them but if you have undeniable proof how can you go against it?

I believe in them. The universe is bigger than we can imagine. As I try it hurts. Another question is where does the universe end? or where do black-holes really go if anywhere? Those are even harder to answer but it would only be dumb to say that of the millions of galaxies there is only one planet that supports life. Mars anyone?

It has also been said that UFOs being super fast and all may be time traveling humans from the future examining or checking up on us to protect us fro something that will happen that will maybe alter human civilization.

Well, uh, I keep hearing about this place called 'Earth' that's supposedly got life running around all over it. But, I mean, they're just rumors and stuff, so I don't really know. Never been there.

...Yeah, there's gotta be something out there. With the universe being so vast, there's probably a good chance of there being some sapient species with intelligence that equals or surpasses that of humans, but any sort of complex ecosystem on another planet would be an amazing discovery. I find it incredibly fascinating how resilient life is, how creatures evolved and developed into what we have today, and finding a similar planet and being able to research how it happened there would just be amazing.

Of course, these things probably won't happen in my lifetime. I can dream, I guess. :V

No, the little green thingies don't exist in my opinion.
But I do beleive that real aliens that aren't green steriotypical bugers are very real, we just don't know about them.
Agreed.

It might be possible that somewhere in the universe, a stereotypical alien to us might exist, but most likely, they're going to be much larger and different.

Lol at how there hasn't been a Scientology reference yet.
-oops

To answer this, the Universe does not end; it continues to grow after the Big Bang. Until it reaches a point where it stops gorwing and begins to collapse in on itself.

And to put a spin on the size of the Universe, our Galaxy is inside a Galaxy Cluster, which itself has millions of galaxies inside it. In an approximately 30 x 30 feet room, our galaxy cluster is the size of a small shirt button.

This is what I was told during a science lesson last year as we studied the topic. Now, knowing this, you try and tell me that life cannot exist outside of Earth.

I dont believe in aliens but in other life forms then humans. I say that because any life form to us is an alien and us to any life form is an alien race. Every race of human like species is an alien race to each other so i believe in other life forms instead. The universe is vast and very unknown to us but might be travelable to the other life forms as we might be the inferior race of the universe with little technology compared to other life form technologies. Wethere they visted us or not i cant say. I mean humans picture them as green midigets with fish like eyes in flying saucers. When really their transport could be say a super cool looking car look alike with very fast flying speed or something else. The only life form we knopw about so far are the ones on earth so i believe them to be hoaxes.

Of course there are aliens. In this universe, they could be all around us - Or even be with us. Recently, however, scientists obtained a small rock from Mars (from the probe in space). The rock contained thousands of small bacterium, who are technically aliens since they come from Mars.

But to some it all up - I do believe in aliens.
