All Scrambled Up!

GrimmSeussAliensA

Grimm Seuss Aliens A
Gimm. Uss. I A
R. Es Alens

Evolve from Gen II Pokémon, while being cross-gen evolutions.

First guess is Mismagius, but…

Res Lens A… Sneasler

Since it's a dual-typed and monotyped duo,I think I cracked it… Mismagius + Sneasler!

Mismagius is even available in Hisui, like every Gen 4 Pokémon, cross-gen evolutions included, if I am not mistaken.

Correctomundo! Your turn for the puzzle, though. You forgot to add one.

Here's my next contribution to the scrambled-up game:

Jadencarcergenini

Hint 1: Two generations apart.
Hint 2: Found on the same continent.
Hint 3: Excellent sweepers feared by OU.
Hint 4: Tons of Types.

Jadencarcergenini

Arc... Arcanine, which would leave:

Jdencergi

Stuck on this... can't think of anything that fits here. Let's see what else is in here....

... the 'nin' at the end immediately makes me think of Greninja. Which leaves:
dencarcei

I stared at this way too long, but eventually saw Cinderace.... 😅

Greninja + Cinderace !

midemolisherin
Hint: One is 8 letters long, the other 6.
Hin2: Both were introduced in the same gen.

Lots of I's and M's. No A's, also. Not Mimikyu by length. Not Impidimp. Not Illumise. What else starts with I? Indeedee, Igglybuff, Inteleon, ...and probably several more.

A new tack: what goes with the I's? -Ish. Not Vanillish, Helioptile, Heliolisk (shh). Not Cherrim with -im. Not Cherubi with -bi. None for -ird. -ire? Not Electivire. Not Seviper.

Tried scrambling the letters. Caught Dhelmise from "rimdhiselnmioe". Does that work? Leaves iimorn. Minior.

Dhelmise and Minior

What other 'I' Pokemon were there? Ivysaur, Incineroar, Inkay, and Infernape. Not that many, really.

Next scrambled pair: cutepotionlygn

Hint 1: Seven letters each
Hint 2: Shares only one letter in common. Happens to be in the same position in both names too.

cutepotionlygn

well there's a Y, so I should probably just focus on that...
... an F short of Cutiefly.... too long anyway...
... F short of Flygon too lol.... too short anyway....
... Yungoos... no S....
... why do I keep seeing mons that require a letter that isn't there 😅

... Lopunny ? Leaves:

cteotig... I'm not seeing anything here... so time to apply the second hint:
One letter in common in the same place... with the remaining letters it could only be the o in the second spot:

xoxxxxx

co - tetig
to - cetig
eo - cttig
to - cteig
io - ctetg
go - cteti

does that do anything for me?
Oh.. Togetic?

Lopunny + Togetic

I feel like I got stuck on the second one for way too long since I apparently had the right mon and wasn't on a dead end...

deduciblesirie
Hint: One is 8 and one is 6 letters.
Hint2: They have a type in common.

Awesome!

Eiscue + Delibird it is, and it shall be so!

Here's my next puzzle for you:

Ztarturndegyseae

Hint 1: Shares a common type element.
Hint 2: One is considered good, the other is considered evil.

Focuses on the 'Z' immediately. Is Zarude good or bad? Featured in a movie, so probably one of them. Results in "ttrngyseae". Sees nothing at a quick glace. Puts a pin in that.

Maybe Zacian instead? ...No C. Not enough O's for Zangoose. Not Zapdos. Not Zamazenta. Not Buzzwole. Not Zorua/Zoroark.

Back to Zarude. "statenergy". Still no.

Thought of Eternatus with Zacian in mind. Stuck a nice "turn" right in the middle of the word. What do you get by taking out Eternatus? "Zrdgyae". Zygarde.

Eternatus + Zygarde

Next scrambled pair: brbmegaweedlesl

Hint 1: Seven letter and eight letter names.
Hint 2: Ends both names with "le".

brbmegaweedlesl.

Lsel Deew Agem Brb…

Mons that end with "le", one 7-lettered and the other an 8-lettered.

Clefable? Nah…
Methinks one is Dwebble..

If so, it will leave me with; Lseagemr.

Instant brain tells me… Smeargle!

I cracked it! Dwebble + Smeargle.

Nailed it!

Here's my entry: BragSomeTegridyA

Hint 1: Both have eight-lettered names.
Hint 2: They can both learn Ice moves.
Hint 3: One has a temporary form used by a Leader. The other can grow up into an old variant blessed by God.

Well good thing I refreshed as I was about to begin lol

BragSomeTegridyA

... Considered Beartic for a second due to the second prompt, but it's too short.
... Braviary? No V...
... Gorebyss ? Right length, but there's no second S...
... Diggersby ? Well it's in there, but it's too long...

... Gyarados ?
That would leave 'BmeTegri'.... Bergmite?

Gyarados + Bergmite !

fractureflavorsk
Hint: 8 letters each.
Hint2: One has a double weakness to the other's STAB attacks.
Hint3: Neither is fully evolved.

fractureflavorsk

Frac ture flav orsk
Ksro valf erut carf

8 lettered named, not fully evolved for both, and one is 4x weak to the other….

Magcargo? Nah… Camerupt? No siree.

Mmm… Using the National Dex for clues… Larvesta!

Which would leave me with Fclu Orfk…

Aha. Rockruff!

Larvesta + Rockruff!

Sun larvae has a severe type disadvantage against Alola's rough, but beloved good boi.

Now for my next puzzle:

Shocktoothmerfrincs

Hint 1: Their type combinations each have one element that form a common elemental duo.
Hint 2: They are from the same generation.
Hint 3: Each share a 4x weakness.
Hint 4: One of them is the ace Pokémon of a veteran Trainer not originally from that new generation's region, but is very much part of said new region.

Who has double weaknesses? Quagsire, Gastrodon, and Seismitoad. More likely Dragons, though.

Thinks of Charizard for the fourth hint. Certainly has a double Rock weakness.

Alternatively, what elementals are usually together? Normal/Flying, Rock/Ground, Grass/Poison, and Water/Ice. Or is it talking about Fire and Water, or even Fire and Ice? Notes a common Rock weakness between Fire and Ice.

Who else has a double Rock weakness? Volcarona, Talonflame, ...wrong Generation. Must be Ice anyways. Ticks off Moltres, but maybe Articuno? Should start looking at letters now.

...No 'A' for Charizard or Articuno. Not those Water/Ground Pokemon either. Notices very few vowels here. Probably means lots of consonant blends. Cannot be Fletchinder without a few more letters. Must contain at least one long name in there.

Cycled through who has double weaknesses. Amounts to a lot of Pokemon. Ran into lots of A's. Found a decent one finally: Frosmoth. Dies horribly to Fire and Rock. Opens up some options. More importantly, the remaining letters: shckotiernc. Shuffled it around a bit (and thought about weaknesses). Spotted "rnch" at the end. Led to Centiskorch.

Frosmoth and Centiskorch

Had some of the right ideas. Simply took a while to put them together.

New pair: elitefourroxrss

Hint 1: Shares only one letter in common
Hint 2: Debuted in different generations, both before Generation 6 (X/Y).
Hint 3: One fully evolved Pokemon and one middle evolution.

elitefourroxrss

That X should make things easier....
... Not Xatu or Axew/Fraxure/Haxorus.... not Braixen/Delphox.
... Not Xerneas or Xurkitree.... nor Excadrill...
... Not Dartrix.... nor Dustox.
... Not Exeggcute/Exeggutor.
... Not Bruxish... not Deoxys.
... Not Shinx/Luxio/Luxray.... no wait... Luxio is possible. Could be the middle evo. Leaves:
'etefrrorss'

etefrrorss - ferro + 'etrss' ? no.
Wait... tress? Forretress? Does that fit.... it does!

Luxio + Forretress

unculturedrains
Hint: Introduced in the same generation
Hint2: One is a single stage mon. The other only has one type.

Durant and Reuniclus
Both were introduced in generation V. Durant is single stage Pokémon and Reuniclus is pure Psychic-type.

Wow, that was a tough one. Lol This game is lowkey very hard.

MyHatGoesNCough

Hint 1: Both debuted in the same generation
Hint 2: One is a first stage evolution
Hint 3: One has a 4x weakness

Started organizing letters. Spotted "Goomy" quickly. Leaves "HatesNCugh"

What else has a double weakness in Generation 6? Not Talonflame or Fletchinder. Chesnaught? ...Yes. Pretty quick on that.

Goomy and Chesnaught

Next scrambled pair: ullmegastompy

Hint 1: Both not fully evolved
Hint 2: Never uses a letter twice in either name.
Hint 3: Could be part of a starter trio, based on their types. Does not belong to any official starter trio, however.

You're amazing, Devalue! I didn't think anybody would figure that out! It was taking days, so I was kind of worried. lol

As for my answer to yours however:

Slugma and Tympole
Both are not fully evolved, nor are they starters, neither one of them have the same letter in their names more than once, and both could be part of a starter trio, as Slugma is Fire-type and Tympole is Water-type. This one honestly wasn't too hard because all I had to do was look for unevolved Grass, Fire, and Water types that aren't starters with Ls in their names. Slugma was easy to find. That left me with " letompy." From there, Tympole was the obvious choice because there aren't much unevolved Water, Fire, or Grass-type non-starters with a name similar to it.

Well, since mine was easy for you, I got one for you that's much harder!

GerILikeEelCodTree

Hint #1: Both Pokémon are very similar to each other, as they have the same typing and pretty identical looking stats.
Hint #2: One Pokémon is a long-time veteran in the game.
Hint #3: The other Pokémon is a rookie in the game, as of this post.

Can you guess them? lol Hopefully you can tell the difference between a lowercase L and a uppercase i! It can make you or break you!

GerilikeEelCodTree

Eel... Eelektro- nope.
Eelektrik... no second k.
Not Celesteela/Steelix.

Deerling... no n.
Greedent... same problem.

Grotle ? leaves: eilikeECdree... so many e's left. Moving on for now.

Electrike ? -> Gerilode...
...possibly the wrong trail, but I realized it could be a regi now.... Not Registeel/Regidrago/Regigigas.

Regieleki? -> leCodTree

Regice ? -> likeElodTree

Regirock ? -> lieEeldTree

Electrode ? -> Gerilikee

Regieleki.... seriously... why did I not see electrode when I was thinking about regieleki earlier on...

It's the explody boi and the bouncy boi
Electrode + Regieleki

fargoallesslads
Hint: Both are dual type Pokemon and they don't share a type.
Hint 2: There are only two Pokemon inbetween/seperating them in the National Pokedex, listed numerically.
Hint 3: They are from the same generation.

Froslass and Gallade

I just literally took one look at it, saw it, and noticed what it was without even having to work it out. Lol Didn't even have to read the hints. I just saw their names in there almost instantly. lol Either that was an easy one, or I have gotten way too good at this game. lol

nILoveNDoorsfr

Hint #1: One has a unique base stat total.
Hint #2: Both are from the same generation and both are not fully evolved.
Hint #3: The other has a type combination that allows it to hit Pokémon with unresisted STAB.
