Is there anything that makes you sick when you are exposed to it?
I have some environmental allergies. Significant dust can trigger to me have coughing spells, wheezing and trouble breathing. I also don't do well in settings where it rains day in and out- my eyes turn red and watery, my nose is congested, my throat burns-- I think it's the mold spores from the dankness, and pollen being carried around.
As for food allergies. I seem to be allergic to aloe. Topically, like in a beauty product, it's fine, but was told once that you could ingest, and it was healthy-- just a tiny spoonful left me sick to my stomach and bed-ridden though the whole weekend. I also have learned to watch out for peppers. Just traces of it like a shake or two of chilli powder mixed into a sauce don't bother me, but when it's a primary ingredient like a stuffed bell pepper or a Sloppy Joe I can't handle it.
Have you noticed any adverse reactions?
