Yeah,cause the desk looks like where the head of Team Plasma would be sitting and He got away at the last minute and told Aloe to stall for him,so then the battle unfolds.

Mabey but Magmaruby has a very good idea also.
She doesn't have to look evil mabey she is a serious member that doesn't like to show emotion.
 
Hm... Looking at the video again... The room reminds me of a museum hall or something... ^^; ... Hm... I dunno, that's just the vibe that I'm getting from it... Or some really fancy home.. Oh! Maybe it's like that Pokemon Mansion from D/P.... Except that you battle the wealthy owner! .... Nah, she's probably just a Gym Leader... But then again... Looking at the room, it has flames/lantern-thingys on both sides so it reminds me of a castle... Team Plasma's HQ? ...... Uh, I'm still sticking with her being a Gym Leader, jeez, my stupid long post full of nonsense. XP

It also reminds me of a Museum (NYC theorist will use this as proof for their theory if true I bet :P) though the room seems small to me:\

It does sorta remind me of a Museum too.
but your right the room looks like more of a office then it does a big Musuem.
That also helps my theory of it being a Team Plasma office ;)
 
I like the idea of her being a teacher, she might as well be. Maybe she's the Gym Leader but not at the Gym, we'll have to go and meet her at work. First through the kids she teaches...

This! Absolutely this! I was thinking that she may first be called Ms Vera by people then say, "Oh, you can call me Aloe". This will work with the idea of her being a Teacher. Like how people say Mr Xxxxx and Ms/Mrs Xxxxxxxx
 
Judging by that name you gave... Bug Type Trainer? Grass Trainer? =DD
 
Her name points to being a gym leader (Grass) but the (barely visible) setting just doesn't fit.
 
Wasn't Candace dressed like that, with different colors though? And she was also a teacher. So, Aloe could still be a gym leader.

I would love to hear her say "kiai"! ^^

Also, why does she have the little vs. thingamajig if she's just a teacher? Unless all characters get a vs. thingamabob, which I doubt.

There aren't even that many, if any, white people in the game. They are all Japanese.

I saw 4 when I was their. They lived in Shibuya, and were men.

She's probably Indian is Isshu is in suppose to be set in Japan though.

Iris is an anime-only character as far as I know. She has and probably won't have anything to do with the games considering that we already have a well-appreciated female PC.
