Alola Pokedex expansion wishlist

    So, considering that Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon will be a direct sequel in a similar way that Black 2 & White 2 was to Black & White, there's a high chance that the regional Pokedex will be expanded with Pokemon that weren't present in the original Dex.

    That said, which Pokemon that weren't present in the original Alola Dex would you like to see be added in these games?

    So the direct confirmed that there was going to be new pok?mon added to the Alolan Pok?dex, who would you like to see added?

    Personally, I'd enjoy the Oddish line, Tropius, Maractus, Slugma line, Woobat line & Alomomola

    Has it been confirmed that it'll be a direct sequel? I heard them call it something along the lines of a 'remastered/retold' version of Sun and Moon which would make them third games :/.

    We'll find out in due time, but I'm most likely guessing it's a direct sequel like B2/W2.

    Hopefully. How long did it take for them to have an official site for SM? Irc it was up shortly after SM were announced.

    Though Armored Lunala would need to be in Pokemon Ultra Sun and Armored Solgaleo (what I'm calling them until we get an official name) Ultra Moon as Nebby was caught in SM (it'll need to be the opposite sex Cosmog here in UltraSM). We should know when box art starts appearing :3.
     
    Honestly I just want a Poison/Fairy typed Pokemon

    I'm expecting a National dex to be added. Surprised that SM lacked one. As for mons for the Alolan Dex. Not many other than some Johto mons that might get Alolan forms (I hope).
     
    Togedemaru was focused in the trailer, perhaps we'll get an evolution for it if we're getting new Pok?mon? Other than New Pok?mon, I'm just expecting evolutions of the existing Alola Pok?mon that we all thought would have one initially eg. Komala, Pyukumuku etc. Then the National dex will most likely just be a expanded by a small amount considering it's already pretty extensive as it is.

    I could see why the National Dex was locked to Pokemon Bank, because it did allow for the Oval and Shiny Charms to be easier to obtain, of which I was able to get the former for the first time ever. I noticed Johto and Sinnoh Pokemon were very scarce in S/M's Alola Dex, so hopefully we'll get some evolution lines from those regions added in.

    I can't see new evolutions being introduced within games of the same generation. Maybe in 8th Gen then.

    That's true. But I'll love to see some Gen 7 entries for those older mons not available in SM.

    Alternate universe? You're suddenly reminding me of the upcoming Pokemon movie being a retelling of Ash's origins, which implied a AU theory due to Brock, Misty and Gary being replaced by new characters altogether.
     
    Tropius, Lunatone, Solrock, Alomomola, Oddish line (for Bellosom), Tangela (Just because I kept seeing them while I was in Hawaii), Dududo (same with Tangela), Mantine, Duskull line (kinda like the night marchers I guess), Clampearl, Joltik line.


    If we're getting new alola forms.. Shuckle, Duduo, Grimer/Muk (Lava or Mud).

    I somehow doubt we'll get evolutions.

    I agree with what Countryemo mentioned. Pokemon like Tropius and Bellossom looked like they would fit in Alola but surprisingly weren't in the regional Dex. But then again, it's not like Bellossom is the only Grass-type that wears a "skirt" since Tsareena and Lilligant had that going for them too.
     
    I really want to see Mienfoo/Mienshao in this games pokedex. When Sun & Moon coming out first I was holding out on these guys because I really want to try them out.

    It's probably just as well that they didn't show up though, since I ended up having a full Alola team in the end.

    Outside of that I guess I'm hoping to see more Pokemon I'm interested in but haven't used yet.

    Edit: Also can we have Yamask/Cofugrigus as an actual route Pokemon and not just on a special island somewhere like in ORAS. Those guys need some more love!

    Haina Desert's variety is barren. Sandile, Dugtrio, Gabite, and Trapinch just didn't cut it for me. What's a Pokemon desert without some cactus Pokemon? Cacnea, Cacturne, and Maractus fit the bill just fine. Since Haina Desert is right below the Ruins of Abundance, why not Sigilyph?
