I'd love to turn this into a proper tutorial, but I'm really only versed in Photoshop animation. If anyone has any knowledge on animation beyond Photoshop, please post here so we can collab! Otherwise, here's some examples of gifs/animations I've made/edited:
    Spoiler:
I know you guys have some awesome stuff to offer, Let's see it!

Oh cool! I love those Pokémon Cards! :D Can you show us more?

I'm good at animating stuff in blender, and I know a hack to get gifs from blender, via GIMP.
I'm also hoping to see krita's animation tools when version 3 is released (that might take a LONG time)
I'd love to hear more about that process! I've not heard much of Blender, though I'm fairly familiar with GIMP. I'm trying to get access to animation software like toonboom and a few others, but unfortunately they're so damn expensive so I've been forced to shoehorn everything into Photoshop for lack of resources.

Haha thanks! I have a few pixel animations that I've made in the past, but sadly they're not that developed, just one or two frames.
    Spoiler:
I've got a bunch more in my gallery though, including a whole slew of avatars I made for a staff collab a while back. :) If you're interested in ever learning how to do simple stuff like this, lemme know!

Nice to know! These pixel animations are really cool! I have friend online who did my mascot "Blue", in the style of Rhythm Heaven/WarioWare. I don't have it uploaded but I really like that kind of art! :D

I'm bad at it myself, I'm more music oriented.

If it's worth anything I happen to dabble in Adobe Premiere. Mostly I use it for video editing, and admittedly probably the best showcase of what I've done, however little it is, isn't on the internet for copyright reasons. I would love to share it, somehow, though.

But I've been making gifs for a while, both between Premiere and Adobe. Most due to wanting gifs in my signature and others simply for the convenience of having them. They certainly aren't on level with what's above, but it's just some anime silliness that I happen to have lying around.
    Spoiler:

So not too much of a repertoire, but that's not to say I wouldn't be interested in more ambitious projects. I LOVE making gifs and editing, so animation (as long as I'm not creating the art, because lord knows I can't) would totally be right up my alley as well. It's time consuming as hell, but lord knows I'm not loving every second of it.

I like this idea, though. Really looking forward to seeing what this thread produces.

couple gifs i have made for my blog

and well... i am sure some of you have seen my animated/gif signatures so won't bother putting those down
i like doing this kinda stuff in photoshop, just too bad it takes a lot of my time sometimes

I've made quite a few gifs for avatars and signatures here (not the ones I'm currently sporting, they were just resized and cropped), and the odd simple pixel art gif like these:

oh god those two are over five years old

Making gifs from videos is actually kinda fun and relaxing though.

Krita just gained animation support. Probably going to spend a long time playing with that. Also, I just got a ton of undertale models, so expect some stupid undertale gifs as well.
