Thank you Alakazam and Utada for the welcomes. C:
Alakazam: Ah, good choice on watching Higurashi! It won't be long before you finish with it. Once you get into it, it's really hard to stop watching.
Utada: It's too bad that you aren't willing to watch psychological anime that happen to also fall into the horror genre. Higurashi is really worth the watch, but there a few episodes where you kind of cringe at the sight of the scenes, but I think it's neat that an anime can have that kind of affect on its watchers! It's like watching a movie that can make you cry - if it can make you feel emotional, then it surely is worth the watch!
By the way, could this be Lucy? I'm not sure if you may have remembered me, but I did use to talk to you, I'm sure. Maybe you remember the usernames Mana-san, Shugotenshi no Bakura or Rika Kamiya? :x If not, then that's fine too!
Onto answering a couple more questions..
Do you like shorter animes or long ones and why?
I like to watch shorter anime when I know that I will be busy soon, so I can hurry up and finish the series so I don't have to wait in agony to watch it when I'm not busy. But over break or when I'm on vacation, I try to start watching longer series that have 26+ episodes because I know I have time to watch them. Otherwise, I don't decide to watch anime based on how many episodes there are.
Heck, I saw Pokemon episodes up to the Hoenn region before I decided that it no longer interested me any longer, and that was because Misty left. Even Yuugiou, I saw all 214 episodes (and I'm not counting Yuugiou GX, it simply does not interest me, sorry).
Name some animes you think not many have heard of that you have seen:
Bokurano, definitely. I know I mentioned it before, but it's really dramatic, and is not exactly what you expect in a mecha anime.
Hanbun no Tsuki ga Noboru Sora, it may only be six episodes, but it's a rather dramatic, though some parts are humorous. If you're interested, you should look it up. It's romantic.
Princess Tutu, I thought it was just silly and childish to have an anime about some ballet thing, but then I started watching more episodes, and the plot got interesting. The characters change throughout the anime, and even though the plot seems repetitive, it gets better halfway through the anime.
Shigofumi, you have no idea what this anime is about when you only read the fact that it is about a girl who delivers letters to people from those who pass away. This one has serious plot twists, and it's a good one to watch for some Slice of Life.
