Anime you cannot stand!

Pokemon Hoenn...and on - I don't think I have to explain myself any further.
Naruto - PERIOD
Witch Hunter Robin - Let me put it straight: I'd rather watch paint dry than watch an episode of this show. The title sounds more action-packed compared to the action that actually takes place.

Full Moon wo Sagashite - Liked it, loved it, became obsessed with it (and a certain kitty Shinigami... :3), but, now I can't stand it. Though I still like the music from it. I think it was that bratty Mitsuki that killed it for me >.>

Touhou Anime Project - OK, the manga seems like it'd be OK. The games are pwnsome. The fanart/comics are awesome. But the anime? Not a chance. Though Suika appears in what I think is the first episode =D

All yugioh spin offs; i loved the original series, the rest is just wtf?

Hmmm.. not really any. But I hated the 2nd series of Negima. I was in anger and tears. I think it was done by somebody else cause it had a differant name.
 
Naruto: When are those idiots going to learn that "ninja" implies stealth?
Pokemon: I love the games, but that anime really went against my grain.
Lucky Star: I swear, I could feel myself getting dumber while watching that show. I'd describe it as shiny, shallow, and stupid.

Also, this doesn't pertain to any anime in particular, but I absolutely despise the word "kawaii." The whole obsession that the Japanese have with nauseatingly cute stuff is one of the main reasons why anime will never become mainstream in the West. Another reason is the low framerates. Why can't more anime films be as fluid and lifelike as Akira and Digimon Adventure (the one by Mamoru Hosoda)?

Also, why is it that so many people call anime a genre when it's actually a medium? I noticed that this makes some problems while using NetFlix. Let's say some family with young children rents My Neighbor Totoro, and NetFlix then recommends that they watch End of Evangelion. If the parents aren't being attentive, that could prove disastrous.

Just remembered some not too recent irks...

  • Pani Poni Dash: Although I don't mind humorous random anime, with a cliche school setting and characters, I didn't really enjoy it.
  • Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D: I should say that I didn't necessarily hate the first season but I've heard from credible sources that it gets gradually worse, so I dropped it.
And sounds like I need to watch this Bobobo-Bo Bo-bobo everyone seems to be hating on. o3o
 
Naruto is one. I used to like it when it first started out but now it just drags on with Sasuke/Naruto this or Sasuke/Naruto that and it got annoying.

Other than that, I like just but any sort of anime. D:
 
Yu-Gi-Oh Gx: Racing and playing cards at the same time? Seriously?!
Naruto: Never liked it. People always generalize about it and it's just annoying
Bobobo: see Naruto minus the generalizing part
 
Yugioh; I never cared much for it and it was pretty ridiculous to me anyway. I like Yugioh the Abridged series though, but it's not like that counts.

Naruto; Ugh. I watched a few episodes of it, I was just okay with it. What turns me off is how the majority of its fanbase is retarded, not to mention SASKAY/Sauce-gay.​
 
Well, I usually like most anime. I can't stand the fantards though. Becuase of them, they make the normal fans look bad. D:<

Besides, if you don't like anime with too much filler, just read the manga! I'm talking to you, Naruto haters, (or at least the ones who hate it for just that reason.)

And Sonic X annoys me. Why does Sonic always use so much Engrish?! >.<
 
For anyone who wants to know, I went through the whole post and counted everyone's Anime you cannot stand! choices. I thought I'd like to know what to avoid in the future.

I think most of us won't be surprised to see what got the #1 spot.

Whatever you do, DO NOT avoid The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Code Geass (only the first season, though; only watch R2 if you're a masochist), or Gurren Lagann (exactly why people would dislike that last one is beyond me). As for the Gundam franchise, ask actual fans about what to watch and what to avoid; personally, I recommend staying away from Gundam SEED Destiny (original Gundam SEED is decent enough and may warrant consideration, but the final choice is up to you) and the second season of Gundam 00. Everything else is up to your own discretion; at least try them on and see if you like them first.
 
New to my list, sadly, is the second season of Suzumiya Haruhi.

It has lost colour greatly compared to the old season, and after seeing a drag-on of four episodes containing EXACTLY THE SAME STUFF, with a few variations, I can't possibly stand it anymore. Possibly the next episode is the resolution, but hell, FIVE TIMES? The opening is catchy and excellent, but compared to Bouken Desho Desho, I would say I like the S1 OP better. Same goes for Tomare! and Hare Hare Yukai.
 
Not much of an anime fan since I dont watch over 20, but the animes I can't stand the most is Naruto and Lucky star. I've just never liked Lucky star as soon as I started to watch it
