Another Anime

The only person I'm attached to is Teshigawara now but yeah they are killing off some good characters aren't they?

I thought it was kind of funny how Teshigawara was getting yelled at by Izumi. His face expressions where priceless in episode 4. Rei death was horrible and here I thought Yukari was bad enough. Kouichi did a nice save back there when he was talking to Reiko.

I was quite shocked about that nurse dying, I was expecting another one of the school kids to go next. But if she's gone does this mean that the brother is likely to go next? Or was that just a one off thing with that girl with the glasses?
God I'm terrible with names :(

I would give spoilers since I read the manga but I'll put it in spoiler in case you want to read it.

From what I can remember correctly, her brother also dies as well because of the event. Now I don't know if that'll be in the Anime like it is in the manga. Some of the episodes are a little bit different from the manga.

Episode 5 was good! I'm very proud of myself that some of my predictions for the curse and what's going on with the students and Mei were right. I was surprised that a new student randomly appears, though. That doesn't make much sense to me.

I think it meant that the "extra" student was in the class from the beginning of the school so it's impossible to tell who it is.
Other than that I really liked this episode, I was starting to get a bit confused as to what was going on. I'm glad that it finally filled in a few gaps, even if it was just as confusing. I can't help but wonder why Mei got stuck with being ignored by everyone though.

It's just too ugh....brain-teasing. This is the kind of quality animes I wanna watch :D

The moment I saw first blood made me go " O_O " I mean really, those death scenes are so bloody and makes me go sympathetic....Young students dying from horrid accidents one by one. Nevertheless, it's so cool!

So I've been watching Another and is now on episode 9. I had noticed that there is at least 12 episodes sadly. I hope they come out with more episodes. Anywise, after watching episode 8, I had saw the ending preview to show what's going to happen in the next episode but it showed Yukari alive! So I'm guessing she is alive or it's just a ghost. I'm not sure but I know that episode 9 is going to be intense.

Other then that I have been enjoying the episodes so far. Watching Teshigawara becoming jealous of Izumi going over to Kouichi all the time. I find it adorable. I had a feeling that someone was going to die in the episode and was hopping it wasn't going to be Teshi. So even if they are out of the city, they can still die. That must suck!

Didn't watch episode 8 yet (it's loading now, though), but I forgot to reply with my impression of episode 7 and really want to do so!

Ho. Ly. Crap. Best. Episode. Yet! I loved how morbid it was. Episode 8 looks incredibly boring in comparison (edit: but I just started the episode now and the first few seconds are certainly interesting).

I'm thinking the way to stop the curse is to leave the dead one who was brought back to life behind somewhere. Because that's the impression I got from that story that one guy's sister who was waiting on them at that restaurant gave me when she told them what that guy who was in the class said (Matsunaga). He left ~it~ behind, if I recall correctly. I haven't read the manga, but I'm suspecting ~it~ was the dead person. Perhaps the dead person was killed by him at that temple that they plan on going to? *shrug*

Edit: Ignore that last spoiler! I don't think that anymore after watching episode 8, though I really wish it was because I thought it made a lot of sense. 8(

The last few minutes of this episode was great, but overall, I found it boring. But it probably meant to be boring and a sorta-filler-ish laidback episode with what happened in the past few episodes to sort of cool down, I guess. I hate how predictable the deaths are becoming, though. You just knew he was gonna die when he said he was going to get the ball and the music that started playing really gave it away. Hell, you knew someone was going to die when the ball started flying away.

Episode eight literally made it seem like I was watching Final Destination, with the tense car journey making you think a crash would happen right up until when the boat randomly comes out of nowhere to mash him up into bits... and his body flying into the air lmfao, I know the others have been a bit far-fetched, but this definitely wins the trophy for corniest death so far. Hopefully it will pick up again next episode, I really don't want this series to be ruined so close to the end.

Yeah, deaths are getting predictable. I didn't think the boat would come out of nowhere though. I thought a riptide or something would kill him.

Anyway, I can't help but wonder where the hell Kazami went. You know, the dude with the glasses from the beginning? It's making me think he's extra...

Oh well, the preview for episode 9 looks promising and I hope the show picks up there.

This anime is much more of knowing who die next <_< . Not only that, but actually, as I am watching, I have this feeling as if the dev are actually being creative in their death scenes. They make me question, how will you kill this dude with style? xD And they pull it off beautifully.
Best Example would be episode 8. I mean, it was all a peaceful episode, and I kept asking myself how on earth would they plan a murder? And...well...they did it <_<

What's interesting is if you go back and watch the prologue, you can see the scenes where deaths occur. You see the umbrella, you see the elevator, you see the boat, you see the street, you see the bag, you see the car. I love it when foreshadowing like that happens! You also see a lot of things that could be for future episodes like this, which leads me to think that he's the one who's going to end up killing the another (who I suspect to be Mochizuki).

Right now I'm waiting (?) for episode 11, idk I assume it's gonna come next week seeing how it's already wednesday. Anyways I LOVED the elevator scene and I liked the umbrella scene too, I like it when there is a situation where it's just you know normal, daily-life, though kind of tense, and then it turns around completely, like with the elevator where one moment she's just talking on the phone and the other she's smashed/crushed.

And I didn't really get when the librarian guy explained about the rosters etc, and how it all works.

And I like the characters but Misaki Mei's strand of hair REALLY ANNOYS ME

The Hunger Games, er, The Lord of the Flies, er, everyone killing each other begins! It was gory and sociopathic at times, and while I know the students of class 3 are going about it wrong, I can understand WHY they're acting the way they were. Akazawa and Mei having to duke it out makes me sad though. Why does nobody listen to the boy in this love triangle? ;.;

One more episode and it's all over. It almost makes me sad to see it end.

Everyone hates Misaki... I know why they want to kill her, but I'd be more suspicious of everyone to be honest. They're not gonna have a class after all this is over though. At least they'll find the extra, eventually.

had plenty of tension and was entertaining, but still kinda laughable. The "evidence" for Misaki being dead could have easily been explained, but no, every class member goes into a bloodlust based on one simple claim. And I like how Misaki has stayed quiet about the truth during this entire bloodbath despite knowing the truth. Compared to the manga though this anime is really disappointing.

Overall it's been decent but will probably end up getting a 7/10 from me, maybe an 8 if the final episode gives a really damn good twist.

This episode was really amazing and intense! I was so nervous about what was happening to Teshigawara in this episode but besides that, everyone was going insane and flipping out over trying to kill Misaki which ends up failing on their side. There was so many deaths in this episode and just a bunch of things that was happening. Kazami is still running lose, maybe trying to find Teshigawara and kill him for pushing him and now Izumi had lost it. I'm really liking this so far but the next episode looks as if it's going to be a cliffhanger which I clearly hope it's not. I really don't like those type of anime shows that leaves you behind like that. There are still some questions left unanswered so I hope they explain all of it in the next episode.

Umm lol this feels like they tried to cram it all in one episode, this could have easily happened over two and that would have been better too imo because it feels very rushed, suddenly all kinds of chain-events which shoouuuld have been spread a bit more imo! I am kind of curious what happens next episode though. I like how some of them went completely crazy but it would have been way cooler if there was a build-up to that.

Loved enjoying this weird turning point, observing all the students play the role of monkeys blindly trying to kill someone...and in the end, they face an EPIC fail and die themselves >.< . I was kinda moved by some of the murders I admit. I am just more concerned about Misaki and Sakakibara, I fear their death D: As well as their pal toshigawara or whatever he's called. And, we are left in the climax now, and one episode is left. How on earth is that gonna work?! How are they gonna stuff the whole resolution and explanation all in one ep? This is really getting vexing....This anime deserves more than 12 episodes :@

Admittedly, the only death I'm really that upset about over is Akazawa's, though I did quite like Reiko's character. :[
Up until her death, I thought Akazawa was the extra.
I think I like this anime so much because of all the foreshadowing in the first episode. I'm a sucker for foreshadowing.
