Anyone else want a new Pokemon Ranger Game?

    I recently finished Guardian Signs for the 2nd time, and I'm currently at Almia Castle on Shadows of Almia and remembered there hasn't been a single new ranger game since Gen 4. Does anyone else miss the ranger series and want a new ranger game?
     
    Yes! It's been a while since I've played the Ranger games, but I really enjoyed them. Especially the second and third ones. I liked that there's some sense of continuity between them, with Prof. Hastings and Murph being in all three. I'd love to see that extended to a fourth game.
     
    I would like to see Ranger game with 5th and maybe 6th generation Pokemon but I'm kinda worried it would go PMD route and new Ranger would go for Wii...
    If it was on 3DS, it could be cool.
     
    Yes please! When I first got my DS Lite a year ago, I also got Pokemon Ranger Shadows of Almia. I didnt have high expectations, but it just blew me away, it was unique in it's own way. So yeah, I hope they'll make more of it!
     
    When it comes to the idea of a new Pokemon Ranger game, I am split on my decision. On one hand I am interested in a new Pokemon Ranger game since I own all three of them. While on the other hand, I have only beat one Pokemon Ranger game. So maybe a new one would be good, or maybe it would not.

    Well... there won't be anything worse than the first Ranger so you don't need to be afraid =D
     
    I would LOVE to see a new one. I've played all three, and I especially liked Shadows of Almia.
     
    A Generation 6 Pokemon Ranger for the Nintendo 3DS? Yes please! Gah, right now there has been no information about a Pokemon Ranger game, but we can all hope that there will be one. Utilizing the capture feature to go along with the 3D functionality and the gyro abilities on the 3DS would be very innovative. I would like to see a game set in the Kalos region, where you have to verse Team Flare in the future. There could be robots and stuff, and the Kalos region would be transformed and more lively. Or it could be in the past of the Kalos and where Team Flare is just starting.

    I've played the original Pokemon Ranger, and Pokemon Ranger Guardian Signs. Both were outstanding, it's disappointing that we haven't seen an announcement since Guardian Signs back in 2010.

    Does this mean you haven't played Shadows of Almia?! By far the best Ranger game, imo! Pick that up if you have time/money; if you liked the other two I think you'll definitely like this one :3 The storyline was longer (I think or was it just me?) and it was more of an adventure imo and kind of less predictable, haha.

    I can see them releasing one next year, maybe. They normally release PMD+Ranger games when they don't have anything to do. A day ago I would have hoped for this year, but since we just got news of Hoenn I doubt it'll happen since Hoenn will totally outshine these ones in terms of sales. Since I don't see them making Gen 7 next year and I don't know what else they would remake, I can see a Ranger game happening. I would say Ranger or PMD, but they just released a Gen 5 PMD so this one is probably next out of the two.

    Yeah, that's the only one I haven't played. Will do, I really enjoy the Pokemon Ranger games! Hm, I think that Game Freak will have another announcement for us later this year. I don't think that the Ruby/Sapphire sequel is all that they have in store for us in 2014.
     
    I really like the first two ranger games, I haven't played the third, but I feel like this game has run it's course. I don't think it would be a good idea to release another, they should instead think about creating a new spin off franchise since we haven't really had any for a while off the top of my head

    It makes sense... Almia had story and nothing else. Guardian Signs had shorter story because you had access to after-story Celebi's timeline so the story had to be cut short to fit everything =D
     
    A Pokemon Ranger game for 3DS with Kalos Pokemon? Sign me up! It's always fun to see the newest region's native Pokemon implemented into spin-offs, and Ranger is no exception. I've bought all of them so far, and would buy the next installment in a heartbeat. Hopefully something like this is in the works! :]
     
    I'd be okay if I didn't see another Ranger game...probably my least favorite spin off games, if I'm being honest. Different strokes for different folks though! For y'alls sake though, I hope you get one. :)
