I don't think that MGS3 needs a remake, because we already have the HD remaster and the game is fantastic as it is. Last time Konami remade a MGS game we got Twin Snakes, and it wasn't really a good remake. But I am also done with Konami, because of this:
WHY WHY WHY? An MGS3 remake on FOX engine would be incredible, why make it a stupid Pachinko machine?
Well considering it's probably running on TPP engine and probably has similar gameplay, it might end up fun. I don't really want to give money to Konami though, so if I do buy it, it will be second hand. Basically like with every game, I'll let the gameplay trailer speak rather than the CGI trailer.

Yeah, KONAMI seems not to know what makes Metal Gear a Metal Gear. But it seems thst they made the setting in a different universe. My knowledge of the Metal Gear universe comes from watching my brother play it, and he gave it one look and was like "heck no." His friend, also into Metal Gear, wondered what the heck it was. I just sat back and made fun of it calling it Resident Gear. I know the Metal Gear universe has some seriously messed up stuff in it but come on, the zombie apocalypse angle has been done a billion times in other games.
Unfortunately it seems that Pachinko machines are making more more money than Videogames I would blame the costumers aswellI'm interested in it because the gameplay on TPP was tight (unlike everything else about that mess of a 'game') and I love co op stuff

Yeah I probably would wait for the gameplay trailer first. The first trailer didn't impressed me muchWell considering it's probably running on TPP engine and probably has similar gameplay, it might end up fun. Wel I won't deny I lost interest playing their games, what about you?Or are you really done with KONAMI? :)
I probably will not play any KONAMI games again.Wel I won't deny I lost interest playing their games, what about you?
Mutual feeling!I probably will not play any KONAMI games again.
Why can't they just say "Well, it's a non canon spin off that relies on the famous stealth elements and lore of Metal Gear but is its own contained multiplayer experience"? Because I'd honestly look forward to that after all the fun me and my pals had on peace Walker doing the co op stuff (especially those monster hunter missions)
If you're talking about Peace Walker, the game is very canon. It's Metal Gear Portable that's not canon or "maybe some events happened but not the way they were told here". Peace Walker was supposed to be called MGS5 initially, but Konami didn't allow a handheld game to be numbered. I assume that's half the reason why MGSV has the letter V in its name rather than the number, because in Kojima's mind, Phantom Pain and Ground Zeroes are MGS6.I'm very sure that one is a spinoff (that is canon to the story for some reason), but even if it's like that, there still will be people that are angry about it because of the poorly-designed trailer and the concept.
