    Social Media Team Applications

    Attention PC Members!
    We here at PC's Social Media Team are looking to grow our ranks – and we'd like you to be involved in the team!

    We're looking for dedicated, active members from all over the community who would be interested in working for PC's various social media platforms: Facebook, Google+, Twitter, and YouTube. In the past, we have recruited for each platform individually, but this time we've decided to go about this a little bit differently…

    What do we want?

    To put it short, we are looking for Runners and YouTube Content Creators. Runners are people who have no set allegiance to any one platform, but instead report back interesting events, competitions, threads, or happenings all around PC to The Buzz Thread. YT Content Creators are just that, people who can generate original content for our YouTube channel. We are looking for members who are involved and active forum-side so that our platforms accurately reflect the diverse community PC truly is.

    Make no mistake though, you will still be a full member of PC Staff and would therefore have all the privileges there-in – with room for promotion within the team. That being said, however, you would be held to certain activity criteria and would be expected to participate in SMT discussions that happen behind closed doors.

    So what do you say?

    If you're interested in applying to be a Runner or a YouTube Content Creator, fill out one of the following applications and send it to me in a private message. I will respond letting you know that I received it as quickly as possible.

    Because this is a PC Staff position, there will be a selection process and a discussion on each interested candidate. We will be evaluating each applicant's forum activity, demeanor, and perceived ability to do the job applied for. While it's not a necessity that you post every, single day, we are looking for generally active people who know their way around the PokeCommunity. For this reason, part of your application includes the submission of three examples of the type of work you would be contributing to the team (See applications for details).

    Please also submit three threads/posts you think warrant social media promotion here on PC. In typical Buzz Thread fashion, this includes providing the link, what platforms you'd like to see it on, and an image for use with the post. Additionally, you can provide a little write-up so that we can get a taste of your writing-style for platforms like Facebook, Google+, and Twitter.

    Final notes:
    While we are currently actively searching out new additions to grow our team, just know that we are always looking for people who would make good social media teamsters. We've outlined just a bit of what we expect here in this thread, but without being too transparent, we're always looking for active members all across PC who show a genuine interest in promoting our social media platforms to join our team. So, if you don't get on the staff this time around… you're not out of the running forever.

    I thought SMT stood for Shin Megami Tensei you lied to me.

    Can you explain a little more in-depth on what Runners do?
     
    Now looking at it, a Runner position on the SMT would look like fun since my activity in various areas would make for me finding some good threads to report for social media promotion.

    And remember, if you don't get promoted in this round there's always another time. Just keep trying and you may get your shot eventually.

    I would like to apply and be part of your SMT team, but u know... im spanish xD + im new here. But i also have a YouTube channel with 4000 suscribers where i upload my rom hacking videos, could i do something with that? :P
    PD: Im subbed to the PC youtube channel too :D
