[ARCHIVE] Simple Questions (SEARCH BEFORE ASKING A QUESTION)

Oh man sorry out all the questions,
Ok, I'm getting a rom from the site JustRoms, which one should I get:

PokemonFireRed(U)(1.1)(Special)
PokemonFireRed(U)(Squirrels)

I have no idea what the difference is, but I want to be sure.

I usually just search 4shared.com for files, most of them work.
 
It doesn't work. The image is still not indexed.

Son't make them with MS paint, use a program that supports PALLETTES, like paint shop pro (and others, but I use psp and only know how to index on psp5)
In psp 5, you can index pictures but adding buttons to the toolbar. Go to the toolbar options and add the buttons that talk about number of colors (increase or decrease to 2, 16, 256, 16 million). Hit the decrease the number of colors to 16 to index a picture. Warning: by default, the first color in the pallete will be black, so you'll have to edit the pallete (shift+p) to change the color at index 1 and then replace some colors.

Dunno about other programs that can do this (except, I suppose, newer versions of paint shop pro), so check your program's help to know if they can/how to work with palletes
 
~How do add make a custom page like the one in FireRed where it says ~Press Start~ Because I really want to make one and import it in. And how would we be able to import it in. :)

The "press start" part should be located at 2012 in 16 colour mode. You would need to export the old one and replace the old one with the new on via pasting or just re-writing your new one over it. The Charizard is located at 2010 in 16 colour mode and the part where is says "Pokemon" and "Fire Red Version" is located at 2008 in 256 colour mode, just click the "+" symbol once.

You can't add titlescreens with conventional hacking, if that's what you're trying to say.

BUT
You could edit the intro movie so nidorino's last frame was a full screen picture (can be done), overlapping the background and gengar. It wouldn't have the fade in effect, but would do the trick.
 
Ok i have a hard question, so read carefully :P

Ok so i want a custom tree with a custom pallete in firered,
it had to overwrite the standard tree. So i make the pallete
of the tree, which i made and i overwrite it to the standard
tree palette. Than i whant to import the tree itself. I open
advance map, open block editor, and i see that my palette
is succesfully edited. So i export the picture, and i past in my
tree. I know out of expirience that you need to use eyedropper
for the correct colour. So i convert the colours to the correct ones.
So like in this example:

the rgb values are just slightly off :P
But next i have the colour brown which i want to make the right
values. So i search for the correct color in the whole picture,
but i can't find it :( It's just not in.
How do i find the correct color that works with my rom?

but nobody gets me :()

Export two seperate tilesets then copy the green from the original one so you can change the custom one you and change it into the original palette. After that, palette change the green tileset to the colours you want.

i am trying to use base edit in elite map but it says supported rom but monster are not specified in the data base how can i fix this

the only thing i can think of is your rom isn't working.
Download another one.

A FR/LG/E ROM file will not work, so try Pokemon Amplifier instead.
