Are you a vegetarian who doesn't eat animal products to stop them from being killed?

No. She was just being stupid. Trying to find a reason why I couldn't be a vegan. We even asked the Science teacher and she still said she was wrong. Then again she's the one who I use the, 'The wheel is still spinning but the hampster is dead', saying on the most.
 
Its not total offtopic. It has the thing to do with animals.

Im willing to do whatever it takes to have everyone see the animal rights.
 
Yeah. Sorry about that. But the topic we were on, about animals having no emotion, seems to be over. And the whole vegan thing went completely off track. Animals rights are real. The law protects animals. But people still feel animals are the inferior beings while they do not even bother to research them or find out that we too, are animals.
 
Yeh,Im with Maya Humans have rights so why cant animals have rights.

Did you even read any of the posts I've made? I already said there are a LOT of laws that keep animals safe. And there are humans that keep animals safe with medicine as well, if humans weren't here, those animals would die a very slow and painful death. When a human kills an animal, they usually kill it by shooting it in the brain or the lungs. When shot there an animals dies very fast and almost never feeling any pain.

Some do understand that Humans are animals, but think they're inferior beings because we're on the top of the food chain.
 
*points to post above* Because some people refuse to accept that animals are equal to us. They feel they are better and there for supior to animals. Some people will never change there veiws and trying to force them will only end in a pointless argument.

The human who shot it doesn't feel pain for it. They only see it as food.
 
Well, Humans are superior to other animals. We have technology, well developed languages and more things that animals don't and can't (usually) have.

That's what animals who kill other animals see their prey as. Food.

What maya says is right an animal feels pain when it is shot how would you like to be shot then eaten

Yes, those are called poachers. What they do is illegal and there are people trying to stop that. Not everyone who kills animals do it for that very reason. What you're trying to do is force your opinions onto other people.

I eat lots of things, yes I eat meat because I know the animal meat is going to help my body stay healthy and won't go to waste. I also eat fruits and other foods like that, a human body needs a balance of the two to stay well. Sure you can get it all from fruits, but then you'd be overweight and as you yourself said, that'll lead to other bad things. People kill animals to eat them, the ones that kill them for gain are almost always caught and sent to jail.
 
*sighs* If there had never been humans, or we had not devoloped technology, some animal would have become 'superior' and would probably be having the exact same conversaton but in a different language. When humans are gone some wild animal will take out place.

Edit: I never said I was trying to force any one to think anything. I said I WASN'T. I am stating my opinion just like you. I didn't mention killing in my posts either. I said......never mind. I will not try to, as you say, force my veiw points on you any more.

Kinda contradicts your first post...if we are superior, others are automatically inferior, right?

If you're talking about animal rights, I do believe in lab rat animal testing...I'm sure everyone who has taken biology or something has disected an animal. All was for the advance of science. What exactly would we test if there were no lab rats? We would probably clone them...but wait, cloning would be using animal testing too. So, I do believe in lab rats and that stuff...not dogs or anything though >_<
