Yes I am very different on the internet then in real life In real life I'm (not saying)
But here you can see I'm a friendly person I'm a friendly person on any forum.

Hmm I think I'm about the same on and offline. Yeah, I think I'm about the same haha

Ooh, i can't say, really! I tend to be the same in real life, but i am quite sy in real life compared to here. Yeah, it sounds crazy, but i'm just less shy on the InterNet :O.

I'm kind of different on the internet. I'm not really the loud person or way too quiet, kinda in between. So, maybe.

I am (in most cases) exactly the same online and offline, which is pretty reserved and a bit of an introvert, and never really vocal unless I have to be with most people and quite open when around a group of friends. It used to be a lot different, but I've pretty much aligned my "personalities" to be exactly the same in either case.

Yeah, I suppose I am

On the internet, I don't feel like myself that much, but then again, I'm much less awkward than I am in real life. And maybe a bit less shy, I don't know about that last one though xD

I'm different.
I act very annoying in real life but I'm not so much in forums like this.
But I bet lots of you would disagree. XD

Online, I am a bit overreacting on my emotions but I get along a lot easier. I am also able to write long walls of text if my mind is dependant on it because I am a very good writer, yet offline when I speak to someone, I am unable to form the proper words and sometimes I lock up and get really nervous.

Though, the good things about me in real life are that I am able to laugh at normal things. I am also very childish, often doing childish things and very obsessed with plushes and anything that children would watch. I am whiny and sometimes I also get what I want. My dad also spoils me because he wants me to have everything he didn't have.

(I was going to get into more detail but...I'd rather not. I don't want to end up getting bad rep because I said something I shouldn't have said.)

No. I'm completely the same here and IRL. What's the use of pretending to be someone you aren't?

As much as I want to say I am fundamentally different while online, I cannot. Essentially I am the same old shy guy I am online.

Though I will freely admit, online I feel more comfortable expressing myself and I have plenty of time to think about how I'm going to express it. (Though...even despite all that, sometimes I still botch things up and say them the wrong way..)

In real life, I'm really introverted. I cant help it either. x3 I'm just a really shy guy until you get to know me.

Even online, I can be really shy and a bit evasive. I just cant help myself y'know. I hate being shy so much...x3

Internet ; Childish, playful, extremely kind, very silly, wouldn't hurt anyone, easy-going, sugar coater.

Real life ; Easily angered, also childish, extremely sadistic, can be pretty rude, judgmental, honest.

That about sums it up. XD
What's the use of pretending to be someone you aren't?

Most people aren't pretending to be someone else, it just sort of happens naturally on the internet.
Probably because of the lack of face to face contact, and being able to think very carefully before 'speaking'.
It's a neat thing it is~

Not really. I'm nice in real life and on the internet. I'm funny in real life than on the internet. And most importantly, I'm an ass in both the real and virtual world.

On the Internet I'm just an average person, but I have a little more emotion compared to real life.
In real life I hate talking unnecessarily. I'm not like others, who speak nonsense just to stop feeling awkward when they're with friends.

Nowadays, there's not much difference, but a few years ago, we were practically opposites, to the point that I actually saw myself as having dual personalities.

I've always preferred the way I acted online as opposed to offline, so I tend to try to behave like my online self in real life - I am my own role model.

The only real difference is that online, I have more time to think, and it's easy to look things up so that I have enough knowledge to discuss whatever subject happens to pop up Therefore, I tend to say quite a lot more online about subjects I do not really know much about, and my language tends to be more eloquent and correct when writing. However, this is not really a major difference in personality, simply in circumstances.
