Thats the problem, a "vision" of gay, um boys. There shouldn't be a different type of vision on a group of people. Think negative stereotypes of blacks. never good, right?

I personally can't stand flambouyance. Everybody has an attitude they don't like.

And its OK to think that its weird. Just don't hate on it.

I believe there is some sort of level of parenting that must be achieved and maintained to keep a foster child in your care, so it would be fair to say that any adoption is a better way of life than being in broken home or in a foster home.

People may reckon that gay adoption is a bad idea, as it is likely to be used against the child in a negative manner such as mockery from peers, or cause the child to be embarrassed by having two dads/two mums when compared to people from a nucleur family.

..and all kinds of other logical fallacies to justify their own bigotry and xenophobia.

I didn't want to point this out as the arguing was going on earlier, but 'xenophobia' is fear/hatred of foriegners... 'homophobia' is fear/hatred towards homosexuality. :P
 
I meant xenophobia as in fear of things that are considered to be different. I THINK that's the correct term, anyway.

He's just trying to make an analogy, dude. He's saying that stereotypes are wrong. Sexual preference should not be an invariable indicator of someone's personality, just as with race.
 
It wasn't just for you, but sorry for misunderstanding.

I use black people because I am black, and I go through this alot. Thats why I sypothyze-excuse my spelling-with the homosexuals, because I sorta go through this, but at the same time, I don't care much cause I'm not gay. I care, yes, but to an extent. Some of xXscytherXx's or some other's, agianst marrage can be viewed as bigortry.

But thanks for reacting strongly towards my example.
 
Just because I don't agree with gay marriage doesn't mean I'm a bigot.

Well, my parents are already divorced, but assuming they were being true to themselves and would truly be happy with their decisions, then I would be happy for them.

I would love them both, no matter thier decisions.
I meen, if my parents get a divorce, and fall in love with thier own gender, I would support them.

As long as I get to visit my Mom and Dad both every week, I would be happy.
 
My opinion of my parents would never change. If I didnt like their partners based on personality its a completely different thing.
 
Well, since I'm gay I have to say that I'm definitely for it. I'm some big flaming homosexual and I really don't fit that many of the stereotypes. I'm just me. But I hate it when someone tells me what to do or what not to do. I wish the State Governments here in the US would just give us the rights already. I live in NY and we're definitely edging closer to it actually happening. So I'm excited. And I absolutely hate the argument when they say "well, if we let homosexuals marry, we'll have to let people marry the pet dog." Um. No. That doesn't make sense. I'm not a lawyer, but last time I checked, animals aren't legal citizens so they wouldn't be able to sign the marriage license. Gays are still human beings and I'm a resident of the United States. I should be allowed to engage in an activity that a majority of my fellow citizens are allowed to enter. So yeah. Go Human Rights!

Yes I agree with people saying who answer my question.I still love my parents no matter what but I will be kind of piss off and I still be now supporting it.

hm... Maybe that was just a made up reason to prevent gay marriage because the people aganist gay marriage are running out of reasons.

The whole point of gay marriage is so someone can marry someone of thier own gender. Not an animal or an object.
It's between two human beings. Not a Human and a dog.

Yes it does. You're discriminating against gays. Years ago (not too many), would you have been for making blacks use their own bathrooms? Or ride in the back of the bus? To take something away from someone who otherwise should have access to it (for a reason that is unjustified and based on who someone is) is called discrimination, and stems from an underlying bigotry.

I'm not saying no one hate gay people, or black people, or white people, or any other kind of people. That's your personal opinion and your personal view; however, I do ask that you keep your views personal and NOT bring them into the courtroom. That's the point of this debate. We're not trying to make you love gays, or become gay... we're trying to make you stay OUT of the law, because we all have some sort of bigotry inside of us. It's part of being human! But for the love of Bog, keep it OUT of the damn courtroom!

First of all, I'd ask them how come only now they both found out they were gay. But then I'd support it. Although, I would have to wonder who I'd move in with, I mean, two moms or two dads? That's something that I'm not too sure of.

Next question,

Would you rather be child to two mothers, or two fathers?
