    He gets surprised at everything he sees, but never catch em. wtf.

    He had the chance to catch like all the legendaries, but wtf
     
    Damn you remind me when I was 12, saying "WTF is this sucker doing, CRITICALLY INJURED LUGIA. Lets throw a pokeb- umm lets take it to it's momma!"

    Well, you know, Pokemon is supposed to be educational. Ash can't just "lol pokeball" (aka take) whatever he wants. I wouldn't want girls throwing Poke balls at me.
     
    Perhaps there is some sort of discussion that can come out of this, probably why the writers don't have Ash capture all or most of the new Pokémon he finds available, but it doesn't belong here in the Episode Discussion forum. So, I'm going to shift this over to the main Pokémon Anime board.
     
    Of course he doesn't catch every pokemon he sees, especially legendaries. Geez, it's about time people need to realise that the anime has different principles to the games. I thought people would have known this 12 years ago but obviously not.

    Catching lengendaries is too hard and takes time. It's too much to show in the Anime. Actually, some might have willingly accepted Ash as their trainer. Stupid Ash.
     
    Ash is just 10, unfortunately. And that fact has also been disgracefully attempted to be emphasized recently >__> If Ash had ADHD, he'd also show unusual creativity, which clearly does not exist.

    Indeed. I blame the writers, and how logic doesn't always apply to Ash or Satoshi's actions.

    Yeah, the Latias one was a perfect opportunity, given her feelings. Or, at least, make her a walking Pokemon, and you don't have to catch her, per se. Oh, well.
     
    I don't want to say he "does" have ADHD. I personally think it's just how he reacts when he sees a Pokemon, either legendary or not. The creators made him this way. Saying that is just too much to comment.
     
    I have ADHD, and Ash.. Nah. He's just a kid, who's kind of an air-head. XD

    Even when I was ten, I was still catchin' em all.

    ADHD is no excuse to lack brains when I comes to being a trainer. /shot
     
    M4, did you ever stop and consider how the title of this thread might offend some members? No one likes to be grouped with Ash Ketchum. I changed the title to something less offensive.

    Also, ADHD doesn't work like that.

    I was just going to bring this up. I wouldn't be surprised if Ash shared more things with Tajiri than his name...

    I think its safe to say that Ash/Satoshi catches only the pokemons that catches his attention. Except of course for the legendaries that in Anime is intended to be that way, legendaries are legendaries, no trainers in the anime world can have them. They will stay wild and free and is only shown an acceptance or respect on Ash/Satoshi.
