With regards to the purported Riolu Egg: If Hikari or Takeshi get it (if indeed someone does - I'd much rather the jackal thing spends no more time on the airwaves) I'm going to laugh at the Auraholics so effing much.

Okay, on-topic, BUOYSEL! WTF? Four straight battles, that makes it. On the other hand, nice to see Hikozaru and Glion finally getting some battles in (and hopefully a victory or two for the latter; it has never won a battle before).
With regards to Auramaniacs, I would laugh so much that I'll probably bring the roof down, if Riolu never gets into Satoshi's hands. XD

I say Buizel might not last too long in this battle...and it looks as if Chimchar will be puched to the limits in this battle...that attack coming in fro behind my steelix seems like it might hit very hard!!!

I think Buizel will be in this battle to get horribly owned by Steelix, personally. I think it'll go something like this:
-Ash uses Chimchar to beat Bronzor
-Ash withdraws Chimchar for Buizel as Byron sends out Steelix
-Steelix defeats Buizel (hopefully...really, really easily)
-Ash recalls Chimchar to defeat Steelix
-Bastiodon defeats Chimchar
-Gliscor (<3) defeats Bastiodon
How does that sound? :#

that's a good battle log for this one...or it might be like,

I agree with Don Royale, to be perfectly honest I just want two things:
Buizel to get fragged.
Gliscor being the star of the gym.
That would be so much win it wouldn't be funny.
The BAMF explosion and the fact that Buizel gets owned in every part of the preview it's in sort of...paints that picture. =]
For me I want the following
Chimchar VS Steelix (Chimmy gets recalled)
Buizel VS Steelix (Get's its otter butt killed)
Gliscor VS Steelix (Glion!)
Gliscor VS Bronzor (Gliscor gets recalled)
Chimmy VS Bronzor (Chimmy after a long battler)
Chimmy VS Bastiodon (Bastiodon)
Bastidon VS Glion (Everyone's favorite Moe Moe Scorpion bat wins)
Chimchar VS Steelix (Chimmy gets recalled)

It's not necessary. Frankly, part of me doesn't want it to happen so that, when it doesn't, I can rub it in like a prick. Because frankly, I hate Fire-type starters. Chimchar's interesting at least, but doesn't need to evolve. If anything, it skewers any interest built into it because it becomes a case of "liek omfg it evolved it's so flippin' awesome and liek wh0@ because fire starters are the shyte and should all be fully evolved because fire is such a BAMF type. then it should be in liek every battle because it's so effing boss and when it isn't, all us n00bs moan and whine because that fugly grass starter or that other pokemon, who's liek soooooooo weak because they're not fire-type, actually DID SOMETHING FOR ONCE, and god forbid any of ash's pokes besides his fire-types DO SOMETHING, OHLAWD WHATEVER SHALL WE DO."

That is ridiculously cliched. I mean that's akin to Snorunt evolving to control master Ice Beam.why don't u want Chimchar to evolve??? what if that is the only way it will be able to control its fire power properly???

It does indeed seem like Buoysel gets creamed against Steelix judging from the preview.
However, Buoysel IS going to be used against Candice/Suzuna because of the infamous Ice Aqua Jet. The writers obviously love this move - trained the move in DP041, put Ice beam on that Water/Electric type fish in Wallace Cup (forgot its name) so Buoysel could use Ice Aqua Jet there, and finally put Ice Beam on Crasher Wake's Quagsire so he could use Ice Aqua Jet there as well. Just to show off the move.
I'm dead-certain that Ice Aqua Jet will be utilized (and therefore Buoysel will be used) against Candice, since she after all is an ice type gym leader :)

-is wishing Whorezel was still Dawn's and Ash had Ambipom, if only so that Dawn couldn't girl it up-
I say Pikachu/Buizel/Chimchar for the Snowpoint Gym battle. If a fourth, I say Staravia, considering it evolves.

isn't it kind of mean to want his buizel to get creamed in this battle???
though those three pokemon listed above to battle candice seems very predictable...but I wouldn't mind seeing chimchar evolve still...it is better it evolve now rather than in a filler...???
