is it possible to change your username if anyone knows?

It is possible, but only during specific times of the year when a name change requests thread is open.

From what I know, the next chance you have will be in January when such a thread will be open for requests. However, you can shorten the wait if you donate to a Crystal Tier (or higher) Supporter where they have shorter waits between changes.

The next scheduled name change phase is the first of January, 2015. It will last for two weeks.
