    Which facility would you all like to see in S/M? The battle fronteir, or the battle Maison?
    I feel like GF made a huge mistake removing the battle fronteir, and I almost punched a hole in my wall when I saw the battle maison.
    I think a battle frontier would really make the games more popular among old fans and new.

    The guy who gives you the Strange Souvenir mentions that there's a battle facility in his region... I don't remember his exact words but he does mention there is some sort of facility. That could refer to a Tower replacement (Maison, Subway, etc.), a new Frontier, a new PWT, or something else completely new. So it's safe to say we'll be getting something along these lines.

    As for my preference, as long as it's more than just the Tower I'll be content. Even if it's not the same as our previous Frontiers, as long as it's something to that effect (or along the lines of the PWT) I'll be happy. I'm not sure how likely it is that we'll receive something like this, but I can still dream...
     
    The PWT and battle subway were also very cool IMO.
    Imagine if we got all 3 :O
    Anyway, i will see if I can add PWT and Battle subway to the poll since people seem to like it.
     
    I know everyone wants to see the Frontier back, but with Masuda's statement about the Frontier having only a minor fanbase it believes me that we'll get the Maison again, or what or what the new incarnation is going to be.

    It seems rather odd to me that they'd reference the Frontier at all in ORAS if that's the case. It'd be smarter just to fully retcon it out of existence. Especially since that'd be more justifiable thanks to the multiple universes plot thread.

    I'm not saying it's going to happen, just that it's an odd thing to bring up if you don't want to use it again.

    But this would be a good opportunity to bring it back, since it is canonically in development during ORAS and Scott wears a Hawaiian flower patterned shirt. Maybe he wears it because he spent time in Alola monitering the Frontier's development.
     
    I doubt we'd see the battle maison again, since it uses a french word in the name...and they probably wouldn't just create the same thing with a different name.

    I don't really use those facilities all that much so I don't really care but I think it's more likely we'll get something brand new.
     
    Like others have said Masuda did say there would have only been a small number of players that would have appreciated the battle frontier. On the other hand we did get a reference to it in ORAS with that protect, that could have just been a throwback to Emerald but I wouldn't say it's completely out of the question.
     
    idk what they're going to put into S/M but it's scope is probably going to depend on how much they budget for designing the characters and environments and game modes vs the rest of the game.

    I would like to see PWT to make a return, it'll look really cool in 3D. But otherwise, I never really got to experience fully play the Battle Frontier (I only battled against the Battle Factory so)

    But maybe they won't bring back either honestly due to us having access to wifi and we can just battle each other, or they might make a whole new battle tournament
     
    Battle Frontier for sure. I never really used it in Emerald, but looking back, I do regret it because it looks fun. Really hoping something similar returns in the near future so I can experience it.
     
    Battle Frontier.

    The Battle Maison is pretty much a Battle Tower with another name. The Frontier has the Tower in addition to a lot of other fun challenges. If they don't bring the Frontier back, I'll be pretty disappointed, especially because of the tease in ORAS.
     
    I would pick battle fronteir. I didn't like the battle maison at all. Hopefully they don't do something like the battle maison again in Sun and Moon.
     
    I understand why the Frontier is unlikely, so I'm fine with anything as long as GF doesn't do another copy/paste job with the Battle Maison. That's what really irritated me about the Battle Resort, cause it just screamed "Lazy" to me.
