anyone else think that the battle frontier is one of the most frustrating things in emerald. I just beat it recently so i went there to check it out. I went to the battle factory and managed to get to Noland. I knocked out his first 2 Pokemon but then he had a jumpluff that used double team and i couldn't hit him so i lost. Now i have to win another 21 in a row.

I tried the battle dome as well and won 2 tournaments and then lost in the finals so i have to start over.

    sigh, i hate this place.

Yeah, I find it really annoying. 1HKO moves are gurenteed to hit you, 1 Double Team and you won't be able to hit anything...(how I ended up with a struggle battle and my Milotic lost to a Politoad, blah)

Although, I've got silver in all of them and I think I've got gold in a few, I really can't remember.

i have such a bad history with this place Brandon Anabel and Spencer i completely hated the most.

Brandon: he would use the same strategy regirock always used explosion enough said

Anabel: it wasnt Anabel that was hard reaching Anabel was hard it took a good 3 months to reach her and when i did it was easy.

Spencer: im not even going to get into this guy with the whole " incapable of using its power" thing. plus his lapras=hell

but you know the entire facility was hard, and it was because of the Battle frontier i took a liking to competetive battling. I did eventually end up getting all the symbols but its all worth it. ill still never forget some of those frontier battles though...

Not only that but i hear its coming to Platinum O_o

I never had much time to play Emerald, but it was tough. The only one I did relatively well in was the pyramid & dome. It was frustrating, but I liked the insane challenge. I didn't play it long, Emerald wiped out my save file. >> But yeah, it was annoying at times, but I rather enjoyed trying all the various places, absorbing the pressure to continue. Although I can definitely see why people dislike it. Hard to remember though.

And I actually hope it comes to Platinum, too. I wanna play it again.

speed and status infecters are all you need at the battle frontier, I've learned this after only using random high lvl pokemons

The Battle Frontier was where I wanted to go the most in Emerald (probably because they made such a huge deal about it prior to Emerald's release). I was so happy when I finally beat the Elite 4. At first, it was very fun, but eventually it became so aggravating, I would throw the game at the wall. (I suck at competetive battling...) That of course came back to screw me over, as all the wall collisions killed the internal battery in the game.:'( Thus, I no longer play Emerald (or at least challenge the Battle Frontier). I'm really looking forward to Platnium's Battle Frontier, since Diamond's Battle Tower gets real old at times. All in all, I only ended up with 2 symbols (Knowledge and Luck), but I'm extremely proud of how I came back against Noland, and defeated all 3 of his Pokemon with my last one (Nidoking, Je t'aime!). Man that was sweet.

I never did care much for the Battle Frontier.
Like most, the allure of the Frontier was the main reason I purchased Emerald Version. It just looked so interesting and flashy; I couldn't resist. However, upon beating the otherwise simple game, I found the Battle Frontier to be a little more than I had bargained for. Don't get me wrong, I got all the symbols eventually... But let's just say that cartridge experienced more than it's share of my frustration. ;D

In short, I liked the general idea and such, however; it just wasn't for me.
(Though I suppose I am still anticipating it's return in Platinum. -.-)

I actually loved the battle frontier, I considered it an extra challenge and it was interesting I can't wait to see the return in Platinum!

I Creamed It If You Dont Belive Me See This,The Easiest Was Tucker And Battle Dome Was My Favourite,Brandon Was The Only One Tough Since He Uses Only Legendaries,I Used Latios Since Its A Great Sweeper And Sceptile As A Secondary Sweeper And Finally My Metagross As A Great Defense

    I love it! :D Can't wait for it's return.

I usually just stick around the Battle Dome. It's the funnest IMO. Can't even defeat one person in the Battle Palace though *annoyed*

The Battle Frontier was the most addicting and frustrating yet enjoyable piece of POKeMON goodness I have ever played through. Getting the gold symbols was excessive, but I managed to get through them. XD

Hmm... I did find the Battle Frontier somewhat too tedious to bother with. The Pyramid and Factory were really frustrating. (Plus it made me slightly angered that I couldn't bring back the Shell Bells I found inside the Pyramid.)

After a while, I gave up. Lacking the necessary Pokemon to deal with so many possible circumstances in a single area, I decided it wasn't worth it. I just went there for the Smeargles instead. <.<

    Go, Smeargle!
    Smeargle used Sketch!
    But it failed... >.<

Oh congrats. I Never Ended Up Getting Emerald, although I'm looking forward to the Platinum one. The Battle Tower in DP can tend to get get boring...
    Over-shift, much?

Battle Dome and Battle Palace are easy for me. I've got Gold Symbol in both. In the Pike i've got a Silver Symbol but the rest are really hard. I hate the Pyramid!

The Battle Frontier and any game's Battle Tower always manages to aggravate me. Last time I made a Battle Tower run, I lost when two of my pokemon were KOed by a couple of unlikely critical hits. I felt ripped off.

My team has among the best IVs that pokemon can have, and they were among the best OU, but the Battle Tower's 100 levels leaves plenty of room for bad luck to sweep you away. Worst of all, you can't just reset the game.

That thing is the reason how my Emerald got the highest play time amongst all other Pokemon games I got. Including my Diamond one.

I got all silver and gold luck and bravery.....
Battle Pyramid was my favorite....eww, I remembered those times when I was like "Halleluyah" when I found a revive. :P

And not to mention that old IV man who made life easier :P

I love my Pokemon Emerald version.

Actually, not to boast or anything... But I finished all gold in Frontier.
I admit it isn't easy & when you lose it annoys the heck out of you but with hard work & determination, you will be able to rule at it.
(Frontier is one of the best features in Emerald)
