Battle Server Room Requests & Guidelines
In order to request a room for PokéCommunity's battle server, you must follow the below rules and fill out the request form. We do this to prevent an excess of rooms, as well as keep untrustworthy users from owning rooms.- Requests for hidden rooms can be sent via private message to a battle server senior staff member.
However, hidden rooms are not exempt from any guidelines.
Rules
- Your PokéCommunity forum account must have a join date that's older than 3 weeks and have a total of 100 or more posts.However, the global staff does not actively monitor unofficial rooms all the time. Depending on the severity, if a room is found to be breaking the rules (e.g. sharing porn and abusing the BP system), the room may risk being deleted and the owner(s) of it either getting banned or losing their privileges to own other rooms.
- All rooms must have a purpose.
Make sure the room you're looking to create doesn't already have its purpose fulfilled by another room.
- Battle server senior staff reserve the right to deny your request if they deem the room not viable.
- Only 2 rooms are allowed per user.
You must wait 2 weeks after requesting your first room in order to request a second room. Exceptions may be given to either rule if you have a good reason for bypassing them.
- Only 1 room owner per room.
If you're the one posting the room request, you become the room owner. You can then promote anyone you want to room leader via "/roomleader username". Room leaders have identical permissions to room owners, aside from being lower in authority and not being able to promote or demote other users to or from leader.
