Battle Stadium Daily Chit-Chat [Everyone go on the PO server please :D]

Let's NOT get infracted for starting that argument again. -shudders-

Yeah, you'd best learn that from me. Discussing that never ends well.

At any rate, I am making a League, but TBH I give it 2 months after its release before it simply dies. If that happens, and MMSL dies too, I'll probably just leave the Battle Stadium and go back to my ROM hack. It's just getting so pointless around here. I rose past to brackets in the PC Tournament because the other guy went inactive. And frankly, I doubt summer will bring a flood of challengers. We thought the release of HGSS would bring challengers, and how'd that go?
 
The HG and SS releases probably made challengers go away, despite the new egg moves and breeding additions. People are having too much fun with the main story and the nostalgia to care about competitive battling. I suspect they might come back around during the summer. Also, the Multi Mix league should be praised for staying active this long.
I miss H and S, though. It was almost the "Official" PC league. It had the classic system, and it was active until Greene left (as I understand it...I wasn't really around when it happened.)
 
People are probably still breeding and playing through the game and such, to try and perfect everything. Heck some people may still be working on RNG abuse for the games to try and get the best Pokemon they can.

I think this forum needs more quality leagues and less quantity. That's what's making this place inactive. There are loads of leagues and not enough people to fill them. I believe the MMSL will die out soon enough, no offense to you PLC, but yeah. half the gyms are closed there.

Maybe we should have a couple leagues, the main Battle Stadium Wi-Fi Tournament and a couple Syndrome tournaments as well to get the most activity from this place. I really do like the Four Seasons thread, as it's well presented, thought out and does seem to get a ot of people there. I think it's what's making me get back into competitive battling, and wi-fi battling as well.


tl;dr Quality over Quantity is what I'd recommend.

The problem with leagues is when a new battler comes in and sees leagues, they say OMG THAT IS SO COOOOOOL I WANTZ TO MAKEZ A LEEEG!

Once these people started creating leagues, there were too many

So, someone should post a community announcement warning about the level of leagues.
Also, some of our best battlers have dissapeared. People, please don't go! I would hate to see the day when im the best battler here

i like joining leagues, creating them is too hard :P
 
That four seasons league looks very organized and thought...I'm jealous! XD
Although I don't like the fact that you have to show your pokemon....=(

ok only 3 gyms are closed in the mmsl no half of them the 2 new gyms were there try to train there pokemon really quick and piplip's johto gym
also we do seem to have either a shortage of leagues or an over amount of leagues
so there should be a like 4 league rule to stop that from happening or someting
also why do so many people make a challenge me thread whats the point in it just wandering

it doesnt seam to bother me,
as i can see my opponents team,
i havent lost with my normal team :D
people can see my team but my moves and strategy is hidden ;)
